I chose the Eastwood Inn primarily based on price, as it is very reasonable. Whereas other inexpensive motels have extremely small accommodations, my room was surprising large, in fact so big that the modest flat screen TV on the wall opposite the bed seemed dwarfed in the distance. Older construction with hardwood floors, the room was very clean. The king size bed was firmer than I like with a surprisingly light blanket considering it was the dead of winter; fortunately, I prefer to sleep cool so no problem. Although the office was never open, I communicated several times with the manager by phone. Arriving near midnight, he directed me to a special box where my key was waiting. Overall, the Eastwood Inn proved satisfactory and cost effective. As huge fan of Mexican cuisine, my appetite was satisfied by chile rellenos con a selection of cervezas Mexicanas y tequilas.

when you just need a clean place to stay and shower on a hunting trip this is perfect! better than any old deer shack!! tv,shower warm and clean beds a place to hang your hat or spend the night with your girlfreind or whatever I am just writing all this extra bs because it said the review has to be 200 characters. The bottom line it is a great place to stay when you just want a hot shower and a good nights sleep and freindly people at the desk and aren't out to do a lot of complaining about stuff that does not matter!

I was supposed to stay for 3 nights but after seeing the condition of the room I decided to leave. When I asked for a refund they said NO. I showed them the pictures and they asked me to delete them. When I looked at my bank account they only refunded me for 1 night instead of 2 nights, so I didn't get a full refund. Stay away from this place.

Only place for 50 miles that had any rooms. I thought it was strange that the office was inside the Mexican restaurant next door (that no one seemed to eat at). I had to walk up stairs to get to where the clerk was, not easy to do with a cane). She charged me $75 plus tax, and I appeared to be the only one staying there except for the loud drunks on the back row. The clerk also followed me out the door to make sure I found my room. The room was relatively clean, but worn looking. The bed was hard, but OK. The TV was hard to use, as if the batteries in the remote control were dying. The Wi-Fi didn't work at all. "Wait a few minutes and try again", I'm told. STILL nothing. It got down to 50 degrees overnight so I turned on the heat, but got nothing but cold air. "Let it run a few minutes", I'm told. It ran all night and never got warm. The shower in the morning was ice cold... NO hot water at all. "Let it run a few minutes", the desk tells me. After 30 minutes, still no hot water, so I said to heck with it. The railroad runs nearby, but I didn't mind that as much as the people partying half the night behind me. This place either needs a lot of TLC, or a bulldozer to raze it to the ground.

Seems like they tried to shine up the rooms but still a long ways away. Rooms were not cleaned the best, dust bunnys and misc. hair balls around the floor. Rodents running around the outside of the building. Best to find somewhere else.
