We made a last minute reservation for two rooms at this motel. We were traveling by boat and in this quaint town there is no taxi service and there is not a hotel to stay close to marina. The management was kind enough to arrange a ride for us from the "inn keepers". Upon on arrival we were not expecting... More

My son and I stayed here on our roadtrip down the great river road. The manager was friendly and the rooms were simple but clean. Behind the motel is a huge grassy lawn with a fire ring surrounded by comfy anadroniak chairs. When I asked about it the manager told me where to find the wood and I relaxed out... More

I had to cancel my trip at the last minute & cannot comment on the motel itself, but wanted to say that I received the best service ever from Cindy & Teresa during the reservation & cancellation process. I had talked to at least 10 different facililities' staff while trying to book my stay & these 2 individuals were the... More

We were charged $89 for a room that was worth about $49 a night-no amenities available, a broken ice machine, and barking dogs that kept us awake much of the night and into the morning. When speaking with the manager (Cindy) about it the next day, she got very loud and rude, and quite unprofessional. She refused to try to... More

This place is ultra outdated- and it is not just the decor (bedspreads looks just as old). The room smelled like an old ashtray. The chairs outside the rooms are full of cigarette burns. I understand money is tight but not even a fresh coat of paint? Even the bathtub had cigarette stains. We paid $89 for two queen beds... More

Second time we've stayed here. Got the eagle suite for the weekend. Happy with stay. Nice location for playing tourist in SE Minnesota. Clean. Prices are reasonable. 2nd night half off. Nice to have microwave & fridge in the room. more than one pack of cofee for the weekend would have been nice.

Upon arriving, your first impression of the place is not really appealing. Grounds are not that well kept, concrete is chipped in front of rooms. Well, we thought this is what we booked online, so we have to stay here. When we checked in, Kelly at the desk was very nice and welcoming. We had booked 7 standard rooms, but... More

We stayed in the grumpy old man suite. We arrived a bit concerned based on the reviews we had read. The lady at the desk was great. They have ice. There in no cafe on the property so those reviewers reviewed the wrong place. This place was older, lacking curb appeal, but other than that was a very clean motel.... More
