Pulled in here after riding our motorcycles through a downpour all afternoon. Not modern, but clean and comfortable. Has a fridge and microwave. Has a nice area in the back with tables and chairs for a group to get together. Water pressure in the shower was great. The reason for the high rating and best part of this stay was...

My friend, his daughter, and I visited this place en route to seeing the National Eagle Center. It's great! And at least $30 cheaper than other hotels in the area. Rooms have AC, free wireless internet, and are decorated as cabins! Our room had clean bedding & a clean shower. Also our consciences were happy knowing we helped a small...

We made a last minute reservation for two rooms at this motel. We were traveling by boat and in this quaint town there is no taxi service and there is not a hotel to stay close to marina. The management was kind enough to arrange a ride for us from the "inn keepers". Upon on arrival we were not expecting...

My son and I stayed here on our roadtrip down the great river road. The manager was friendly and the rooms were simple but clean. Behind the motel is a huge grassy lawn with a fire ring surrounded by comfy anadroniak chairs. When I asked about it the manager told me where to find the wood and I relaxed out...

I had to cancel my trip at the last minute & cannot comment on the motel itself, but wanted to say that I received the best service ever from Cindy & Teresa during the reservation & cancellation process. I had talked to at least 10 different facililities' staff while trying to book my stay & these 2 individuals were the...

We were charged $89 for a room that was worth about $49 a night-no amenities available, a broken ice machine, and barking dogs that kept us awake much of the night and into the morning. When speaking with the manager (Cindy) about it the next day, she got very loud and rude, and quite unprofessional. She refused to try to...

This place is ultra outdated- and it is not just the decor (bedspreads looks just as old). The room smelled like an old ashtray. The chairs outside the rooms are full of cigarette burns. I understand money is tight but not even a fresh coat of paint? Even the bathtub had cigarette stains. We paid $89 for two queen beds...

“The suites are newer and nicely done with either a Jacuzzi or a fireplace (or both), but on my budget, the Chalet rooms are adequate for a good night's sleep. The nearby road to a ski hill provided a wonderful morning walk. Wabasha has a couple of really nice coffee/ice cream shops where I could be indulgent as I continued my exploration of the area.”
