We had the best getaway to celebrate my husband's birthday at this cozy, inviting home that truly has it all. We like to check out small town breweries and how special to have your own in the backyard 🍺! The owner's attention to every level of service shines through. You will enjoy perfectly clean, comfy accommodations providing daily breakfast specialties you won't find anywhere else. We soaked in our own Jacuzzi after a home in a nearby forest and a tasty dinner at Los Portales is the name I think. Most of all we loved our time at Hoppy Girl - their creation. The beer is unique, full bodied and delicious! We met wonderful folks there, some locals and some guests whom we left wanting to see more of. Brenda will touch you with her warm heart, big smile and fun personality. All while you sip one of their amazing beers. Everyone deserves to treat themselves to this getaway. ❤

Although we thought it a little over priced, my wife and I stayed in the largest suite and had a great time at breakfast, playing games with friends on the wrap around porch, and enjoying a complimentary drink each night from the brewery out back. The Eagle center and Mississippi River were also great draws. If we visit Wabasha again, we’ll definitely check in here!

My husband and l cannots not say enough great things about our stay at Turning Waters B&B in Wabasha. We have stayed there twice now and it always is a pleasant experience. Our most recent stay was in the midst of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Brenda went above and beyond to make sure that everything was sanitized and sparkling clean. There was hand sanitizer and amazing products throughout the home, which made it a worry free experience.

Brenda delivered a beautiful tray of coffee right to our door. Our breakfast was amazing and delicious. A wonderful treat that comes with your rental is a tasty beer from their awesome brewery which is right on site. I chose Salted Caramel Milk Stout on Nitro oh my! Unfortunately the brewery was closed due to the pandemic but we were able to have a beer delivered and served in the house.

Their gorgeous home is located right in downtown Wabasha and just a short stroll to the beautiful riverfront and cute stores and dining. There are hiking trails, kayaking and fishing almost on the doorstep. Definitely a perfect choice for a weekend escape.

We scheduled a last-minute 2-night MEA trip with another couple and Brenda was so accomodating! We stayed in the Wetlands room and it was exactly what we needed. The bed was comfortable and there's a fan in the room! When we arrived we were treated with a complimentary beverage from the brewery on the property. Hoppy Girl Brewing is a small brewery with the best beer, homemade seltzers, and even ice cream! We woke in the morning to coffee and hot tea and the most wonderful 5-course homemade breakfast! At Turning Waters you're treated like family. My husband and I have stayed at a lot of bed and breakfasts and this was by far one of our favorites. We will definitely be back!

If you have the chance to stay at Turning Waters, do so! We were greeted with world-class hospitality, delighted by Wabasha's small town charm, and swooned over the artfully designed guest rooms. Brenda and Ford have taken appropriate COVID measures, and we felt safe and welcome. Our names were written on the door (a sweet touch especially for honeymooners) and we wanted for nothing but more time in this place. Hoppy Girl beer, an unusual and welcomed perk, was fantastic - and I don't even drink much beer. We had a solid, quiet night of sleep, as things wind down at a reasonable hour at the brewery, and our bed was supremely comfortable.

Lively conversation is likely at the brewery (and breakfast table!). We dined at a safe distance from another couple and enjoyed a healthy, tasty breakfast, plenty to tide us over for an afternoon of adventure.

This was the perfect end to our low key Midwestern honeymoon. Upon hearing we are from Indianapolis, many asked us what in tarnation we were doing in the area. To that I say, why NOT be there? We will make the trek again!

We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary. Although Brenda was unable to greet us upon arrival she was in constant contact with us via text. She was concerned that everything was ok and that we were satisfied and comfortable. We assured her we were and went out for dinner just a short walk away. Upon returning to our River room we were able to see just how meticulously clean everything was. The bed was extremely comfortable! The breakfast was fantastic both of the mornings! We visited the distillery in the backyard garage where we sampled and drank wonderful creations available only by beer master Ford. He has a true passion and skill! He and Brenda are both so kind and friendly. We felt at home the entire visit. This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast. We looked in the other rooms and loved each one with their own unique decor and feeling. It is going to be extremely difficult to top the love in the food , beer and owners. I give my highest recommendation to stop by for a safe stay away from home! We can’t wait for a return visit! Thank you so much for making our anniversary so special!💕

Brenda and Ford were extremely hospitable, very willing to make our experience exceptional, casting a history for the river-city of Wabasha, the value of community and business relationships and the vision of the Turning Waters Bed and Breakfast. Wonderful food, artisan craft beer and warm conversation despite the distancing limitations of lockdown in MN. Rooms were clean and ideal for couples looking for a getaway from the Twin Cities. Thank you!

My husband, brother, sister-in-law, and I were blessed with a wonderful early December weekend getaway with Brenda and Ford at Turnng Waters Bed & Breakfast. Two others who we had never met before stayed in the house with us as well. Despite COVID-19, the B & B rented just three of their suites and we were able to enjoy one another's company while still safely social distancing. Having to cancel the 3rd "Hop & Vine" experience, our third time visiting this same weekend, we made due with each couple (Ford and Brenda too) contributing some craft beers and appetizers to share as we enjoyed an awesome tasting and eating experience. We highly recommend this wonderful B & B in Wabasha, MN. You need to book a weekend this winter too. So much fun!!

I love staying with Brenda and Ford. Their Bed and Breakfast is beautiful, well managed and all around delight!! Brenda and Ford are taking all necessary steps and then some during this covid-19 to keeps all guests and patrons of the brewpub and B&b safe and still have that wonderful relaxing and fun time you want. The brew pup is open at convenient times with indoor and outdoor seating. Live music on Fridays when available as well to get us all out of itchy sticky funk!! I cannot say enough nice things about staying with them. Brenda makes a lovely breakfast for her guest as well, five courses with endless possibilities of flavor that you just can't believe! She always asks too if you have any allergies or undesired things for her meals. So sweet and thoughtful. I would not stay anywhere else. I am a repeat visitor for her and everytime I am never disappointed and am in constant awe of the things Brenda and Ford accomplish. Please, come stay.

Two of my best friends and myself go on an annual mystery trip. It's called a "mystery trip" because one of us doesn't know where we are going. This year my friend an I planned a trip to Wabasha and chose the "Hoppy Girl Brewing and Turning Waters a Bed in Breakfast Adventure" for our stay. We stayed in the Main Street condo and it was fantastic! It was a very hot day and we had traveled four hours to get there so we were very hot and tired. You can imagine how wonderful it was to walk into a cool, cozy condo with a variety of cold drinks in the refrigerator! The condo overlooked the main street of Wabasha. It was like a little apartment with all the comforts of home. It was very clean, roomy, and beautiful. Included in our stay was a pizza supper and cold drink. We got there shortly after the restaurant had closed but Brenda (the owner) welcomed us with open arms and a cheerful smile and gave us supper anyway. She has a great collection of the old vinyl records and chose one that we liked to put on the record player. She was so much fun to visit with while we ate and made us feel like we were some of her closest friends. Before we left she ground some coffee for us to take to our room along with some homemade banana chocolate chip bread for our breakfast the next day. She was full of energy and bent over backwards to make sure we had every thing we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We have been taking an annual girls trip for the past 21 years to different locations around the states and into Canada and we have never stayed at a place that we enjoyed more. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone!
