Includes a Lake Water Park, canoe, paddleboards, kayaks, paddleboat, shuffleboard, horseshoes, basketball hoop, playground, hayrides, barrel train rides, sand volleyball, dock fishing, lodge/convenience store, fish cleaning house, horseshoes, Event Center and bike/snowmobile trail nearby. Great New Years Eve!
We regularly stay at Canary Beach in the summer but this is the first time we have stayed in the winter and we loved it! We came with our family of five and another family and rented 2 adjoining two-bedroom cabins with a doorway in the middle. This worked out great and the kids had fun going back and forth between the cabins. We brought snowmobiles and the kids had a blast riding around the lake and pulling each other on sleds. Super convenient as the cabins are right on the lake! Terry was a great host and even delivered butter to our cabin when we realized we forgot it. We had a great time and we definitely plan to be back in the winter.

Better than a hotel stay!!
We had a need for overnight housing for 3 adults on a weekend when apparently hockey had overtaken the Alexandria area. No hotels had vacancies. The chamber of commerce suggested a list of other possibilities. I left a voicemail at the number of this resort, and owner Terry returned my call in a timely manner. He was pleasant and accommodating and our housing dilemma was solved. Our 24-hour stay in one of his cabins was delightful, providing us much more than a needed place to rest our heads. We left refreshed … and eager for another excuse to return!

New Owner is GREAT!!!!
Terry the new owner is amazing. 10 of us girls went for a scrapbooking retreat. He helped us set up, even picked up Bread Bowls that we forgot for our soup when he was in town. Always asked if we needed anything when he went out. So very nice! We will definitely be back!
