The Valentine Inn was a suggestion of a local friend and we are very glad we took it! The rooms were very large (we had Sir Walter's Master Suite) and the bathrooms were too. This room also has a small porch on the roof. The Inn has a lot of history and is located very close to the middle of Tracy....

Looking for a lovely Bed and Breakfast with a welcoming host and hostess? Then Valentine Inn is the place for you. My sister-in-law, 8-year old niece and I stayed here on a Laura Ingalls Wilder pageant weekend in July. We had a simply delightful time, from Sis's gracious initial welcome, to meeting their sweet dog Daisy, to feeding their neat...

We are planning a trip out there in July to visit Walnut Grove and was trying to call around to get room rates for the dates we needed. I called this facility and the lady on the other end of the line was not friendly at all. She was not helpful or should I say not willing to give out...

I have stayed at the Valentine Inn several times over the past few years, and it is charming, hospital, and historical. The Inn is always decorated for the seasons, and the details in the rooms make the stay extra special. The suite has a wonderful sitting area, and two of my sisters and I have had two "sister" weekends there,...

Bennie and I loved our 3-night stay here! We both thought the breakfasts served were the best ever. The houstess customized breakfast for us, i.e. Bennie eats more so he had a big omeletet. My omelet was fixed to order for me, i.e. leaving off mushrooms and smaller. They served fresh fruit every morning. We were on a pleasure trip...

In the middle of Southwestern Minnesota, lies a homey B&B that is perfect for all sorts of crowds. I stayed while going to Walnut Grove for Laura Ingalls Wilder, and it is only 5 minutes away. Be sure to reserve in advance, cause there are only around 4 rooms. The antiques really set the mood to be comfortable. The breakfast...

If you happen to be traveling through southwestern Minnesota or are headed to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Pageant, check out the Valentine Inn B&B in Tracy, MN. My wife and I have stayed 5 times at this veritable museum of antiques set in a completely restored Victorian house in this small farming community. The proprietors, Joe and Sis Beierman are...

We stopped here last minute while traveling, went to the door and were told yes I have 1 room left, do you want it. I said we would like to see it first and the owner reluctantly agreed to show it. This room was already occupied and we found out that a previous guest just traded rooms on their own,...

This 3 story Victorian mansion in Tracy is just a few minutes drive from Walnut Grove, where we were attending the Laura Ingalls Wilder pageant in July, so it was a convenient choice to stay the night. That said, we felt uncomfortable and did not really enjoy our stay there. The place is beautiful and well-kept, but we were greeted...
