My daughter and I spent two nights here and had a wonderful time. It's a beautiful location with great accommodation, fun feeding the animals and friendly hosts. We are looking forward to our next stay.
Robyn, Ezie, and Jay saved our Brisbane holiday! My family had planned a trip to Brisbane for months and were excited when time for the holidays finally came. We had a couple of good days at the zoo and poking around the jungle. Unfortunately, covid struck just as we were thinking of heading to the city. With the city of Brisbane locked down, we had to find new accommodations outside of the city and quickly. Thankfully we found Clandulla Cottages! Upon check-in, we were informed that we had been upgraded to the Mexicana suite at no charge because they were concerned that we wouldn’t have enough space in the cottage we’d booked. We instantly loved everything about the situation. There was a lot of beautiful open space for the kids to play and we were told that we could feel free to roam at our liesure. The cottage was very comfortable and airy with a kitchenette inside and a stove top, oven, and barbecue just outside on the very large, covered deck. On the back side of the cottage, another deck looked out onto the paddocks where cows, sheep, and horses grazed lazily. There were two beautiful peacocks napping on the deck when we ventured out and the whole scene was wonderful. We were invited to help feed the animals twice per day, which included hand-feeding the sheep and chickens, giving carrots to the horses, and giving scraps to Bella the pig. We were also able to visit Joe, a sweet little kangaroo who chooses to spend her time lazing about the farm. None of us ever tired of relaxing on the farm, taking in the amazing views, or letting the gentle breezes wash over us as we sat on the decks. There are also many games and sports equipment to occupy the time, including a billiards table. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. My only complaint is that we had to leave at all! Robyn, Ezie, and Jay are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuine hosts. We felt so welcome each and every moment. A truly wonderful experience that saved our trip! The kids loved the cozy fire pit every night also! …
We had a 2 night stay at Clandulla cottage. The view from the property is amazing. We are staying at the Mexicana room, spacious and interesting decoration. This suit is suitable for families, 5 of us stayed there and didn't feel cramp. Joint patio area for BBQ, bring you own groceries, dont forget cooking oil! Breakfast was not available due to covid. Outdoor kitchen to cook, indoor kitchen area with microwave and fridge.Farm activities feeding the animals twice a day. Close to Mt Tamborine, lots of little shops and nice cafes.
We recently spent 4 nights at Clandulla cottages for a little family getaway. We stayed in the Mexicana suite - the photos online don't show off just how nice it is! Plenty of space and 2 bedrooms. We woke up to cows and peacocks looking through our windows. The animals are really friendly and calm and handled our busy 2 year old well. Our 9m old baby even helped out feeding carrots to Nakota the horse. My favourite was feeding the alpacas. Robyn and Ezie are wonderful hosts, very patient and kind and encouraged our 2 year old to have a go. By the end of the week he was really confident with the animals. We will definitely be back, hoping to return with the extended family and book the place out, it is a perfect set up for it. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Kathleen & Craig
What a wonderful farmstay! Such a great set up, we had 3 families and having space for all the kids to run around safely, the deck and interconnecting rooms was wonderful. The kids (and adults) loved feeding the animals, their confidence grew and they couldn't wait to feed them all. The variety of animals is just great and being able to really get involved was awesome. The farm, the rooms, the environment, the activities available for the adults and kids are fabulous. I couldn't recommend Clandulla highly enough and hope to return soon.
