Have stayed at the resort many times over the last decade. This time we stayed in the motel rooms, above the main building. To our delight the owners have erected a movie screen and it was directly outside our room. The teenagers enjoyed sitting on the balcony watch the movie whilst the parents sat inside (out of the wind). The...

The park is ideally located adjacent to the Cape Hillsborough National Park which has great walks through magnificent scenery including huge cliffs and offshore islands. Wildlife abounds and you are sure to come across kangaroos, wallabies, possums and an abundance of birds. We had a tent on a powered campsite on the lower level near the beach. The only drawback...

We had a great overnight stay here on the way to Cape York. The national park is stunning !! Unfortunately didn't have enough time to do the walks but watched a beautiful sunset over the beach !! The main block of ammenities is pretty clean and organised , the smaller ones near the unpowered sites were full of sand all...

Mary-Louise P, we appreciate you taking the time to submit a review and thank you for choosing to stay here with us on your way to Cape York. Yes, the national park is stunning and many of our repeat guests come back because, like you, they only spend one night here not realising how amazing it is. That's a good...

Got away with the kids for a one night camp on the beachfront, heaps to keep the kids occupied, wish I could have stayed longer. Toilets clean and showers nice and hot. We built huts on the beach, rode scooters around the park, played mini golf, went and explored the national park, and ate a lovely feed at the shop...

Where else in the world can you walk through a rainforest, then along a beach and see no other person in site! Admittedly it was winter and mid week, but 23deg days is not hard to bare! Especially for a Victorian. The cabins are very old but our's (#5) had just been renovated and was excellent, clean, comfortable and you...
