The owner's could not have been more friendly or helpful. Very accommodating. Of course, this is a remote location in a No MN "resort" with excellent waters, surrounded by abundant public forests for grouse hunting. We stayed in one of the original refurbished log cabins. All essentials provided: new kitchen, new baths, comfortable beds and ample storage space. Very clean and well-maintained. A public restaurant within 20 min drive w. good food. This would be a great location for a family holiday in the north woods.

We took our family vacation to the anchor Inn this summer. The owners are so nice. They do everything to make your stay excellent. We stayed in cabin number 5. It was very nice and comfortable. I loved that it was built around an old cabin. Everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable ,and I fell asleep on the couch every night. I was hoping I could sneak it home with me. It was so comfortable. My daughter loved seeing the chipmunks. I loved the closeness of everyone there. It was so easy to become friends with everyone else who was staying there. Not to mention the great fishing and the wildlife! I would recommend the Anchor Inn for a great vacation.
