Great challenging course. Tight fairways, lots of water, trees and sand. Clubhouse tidy and good food. Morning tee time always good as temperatures heat up quickly. 30 mins outside Chiang Mai central ,
Played two rounds and stayed one night in the hotel on a golfing tour of Thailand. On the positive side the hotel is good and the overall course is beautiful. However, the greens were in very scruffy condition (maybe because of the time of the year) and the signature 14th hole was closed completely. This wasn't communicated to us at the time. The caddies varied from very good on our first day to terrible on the second. I wouldn't recommend playing here when there is a local tournament on as the best caddies are allocated to the tournament and visitors get very young inexperienced fill ins. The management are also focused on local members rather than one off visitors.
This course is a challenging course, tight fairways lots of OOB, jungle, lakes, trees a golfers nightmare lol. Fairways and greens ok but not as good as most I have played in Thailand. Clubhouse has a cheap menu with a good selection of Thai food.
Course is 18 holes, very nice mature layout. Perfect for social golf, need to think your way around, some shorter par 4's with plenty of trouble and some longer par 5's. Nice mix of par 3's. Caddies friendly and knowledgeable which is needed as greens quite tricky. F&B nice and not expensive, i.e buffet lunch Bht 250 if your hungry, nice club sandwich Bht 100. Clubhouse staff good. Will return and probably stay over night. My caddy #88 name Lah was excellent
Played here after many days of rain only stopped raining 2 hours before we arrive at the course but the course was it very good condition with few very wet areas very well layers out course but you did not want to stray off the fairway did not stay at the resort but would have liked to
