We have now stayed at nZuwa lodge several times and we've always had such a good time. The nice beach bungalows, is perfect positioned, if you're looking for some relaxing days on an amazing but still wild beach. The experience at the lodge is topped, with the superb food that is offered at every single meal. It's absolutely the best... More

nZuwa Lodge is beautiful located in the wilderness, just 20 min. our of Pemba. We travelled as a couple and stayed one week there. We had such a great time, and we loved the nature and relaxed atmosphere there. Alex and Gianni are wonderful hosts and they really made our stay memorable. We stayed in the turtle bungalow, which is... More

We did not stay in nZuwa as we had booked another lodge already but went there twice for lunch and both times were absolutely fantastic! Fresh prawns with homemade chili mayo and homemade peri peri as well as very delicious burgers . Definitely a must visit!

I stayed in nZuwa Lodge in December 2014 for 4 nights. After a hectic and hot few weeks in Mozambique this was an oasis of calm and tranquility. The accommodation was really great. My lodge was so clean and with everything I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was great. I booked my stay only the day... More

Sleep deeply in a king-size bed in your trendy, beach-side bungalow, and then start your day slowly with a generous, healthy breakfast on your own private veranda while being serenaded by a variety of bird life. Play hard in the waves or take long, slow walks down the deserted beach, and end your day with a delicious gourmet dinner cooked... More

Setting expectations: This is just a property with 3 huts that are rented out. There is no lobby, no phones, etc. If you want to order a sandwich, you have to go the manager's office. The huts themselves are "craftsy"/homemade, built with walls of bottles, and other batik/hippy style design. Driftwood has been used for a lof of th structures.... More

We spent the last few days of our long trip through Southern Africa at Murrebue beach at this lodge and did not regret our choice a minute. Alex and Gianni did a fantastic job building up this lodge: the simple chalets are just far enough from each other so as to have privacy, they are made from local material and... More

We spent a few days at nZuwa Lodge and enjoyed it immensely. It is off the beaten path outside of Pemba, but you will be rewarded with great hospitality in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The tides here are extreme, and during the day locals dig for clams during low tide. We enjoyed exploring the tidal pools. Lunch is served by... More
