I went to the Lake Shetek Lodge the end of September in 2015 because I was in a wedding at the bible camp nearby. The bride, bridemaids and myself went to check into our rooms. She had ALL of them WRONG! And did NOTHING about it. People who were suppose to have suites got standard rooms and I wanted two...

Under new management (really nice people) it is a great place to stay and at very good prices. We stayed two week nights in early July. The lodge is small (20+ rooms) and located on an island and right at the lake shore. They have their own beach and 3 canoes, fully equipped, are waiting to be used, free of...

.I went to check out the place before we decided to have our family reunion there. I took some pictures to show my family. So we booked it there. Lets just say we had such a great time. Rooms were clean, the set up was great for our family. Yes on Saturday night there was a band next door, but...

Our family plans an annual get-together at lake shetek in the summer. Some of us stay at the campground in campers/tents while others stay at the lodge. The 2 areas are within a short walking distance of one another. The lake is great for fishing, boating, jet skiing, canoeing, etc. There are a few areas to drop into the lake....

We stayed in the king canopy suite in the middle of March. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. A couple of nice touches were the electric(?) fireplace on when we arrived at the room, and the make-up remover pads included in the provided toiletries. (Great idea for weary travelers.) Our suite was very clean and comfortable, like any good...

I am okay with rustic but this place didn't even fall in that category. Even if they gave me a free night I would not take it! The restaurant next door is a joke. Food and service, to say nothing of cleanliness were all deplorable. I'm going to try to attach some pictures that I took of the lodge. The...

My family and I have stayed for one week vacations for two years now and thought I'd share my experience. We wanted a place to stay on a lake to take the kids boating, skiing, and maybe a little fishing. This seemed to be a good choice sense it looked like one of the larger lakes in southern MN on...

We only stayed here for one night in July 2012. The room was decent and the staff very friendly, but the whole property is a bit run down and needs updating. The AC couldn't keep up with the heat. The beach and lake are beautiful and fun - the property has canoes and a paddle boat you can take out...
