This is the second time I've stayed here in the past 3 months - the rooms were spacious and beds & pillows very comfortable. I love that they don't use the mini bottles of soaps, but have the large refillable bottles in the bathroom. I like that the towels are shelved above the sink instead of above the toilet (always makes me nervous that one will fall in!) Continental breakfast was very good, the desk employees were friendly & helpful, glad there was a pantry for snacks/food/beverages to purchase. Hotel was easy to find and get in and out of. Complimentary coffee bar was the icing on the cake. Absolutely will stay again!

Hotel's Favorite
We came in late needing a place to stay west of the cities before continuing west. The check in process was fast and the front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a bigger double queen room and there was lots of extra space. I was surprised they didn’t have a sofa sleeper in the room as it had more than enough room for a sofa. They had a nice breakfast with lots of options and seating. It was a great hotel for our quick stay.

Had a pleasant stay for a series of nights at the hotel. The staff was friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean. Offerings included breakfast, which had an array of healthy to the decadent along with beverages, coffee and tea.
During the day, coffee and tea remained available, which was a nice amenity. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Upon arrival we were greeted kindly by staff (Morgan) and manager (Lucas). We were checked in promptly. Both went above and beyond our expectations.
Morgan went out of her way to make sure all of our needs were met, even down to our specific coffee preferences. We ran into her in the lobby at the end of her shift the following morning and upon hearing we were looking for Starbucks she graciously made a special trip to Starbucks to pick up our order for us!
Our room was clean and comfortable. Every encounter with any staff member was pleasant.
We would highly recommend this place.

Pros: Spacious guest room, comfortable bed, quiet property.
Cons: Housekeeping neglected to leave bath towels.
My short stay in this property (less than 12 hours) was unremarkable, in a good way- I didn't hear noise in the hallways or in an adjacent room, furniture included a sitting chair for watching TV (always nice when I don't have to turn the bed into a makeshift sofa), and I got a good night's sleep. When I woke up the following morning, I had a short drive to my destination as well as Valleyfair! theme park.
Two minor issues: The television feed went dark late at night (fortunately I had fallen asleep, and proceeded to go to bed) and housekeeping neglected to stock the bathroom with bath towels. I didn't notice this until I'd gotten into the shower and was forced to try myself with the supply of hand towels. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk employee, he made things right with a $10 Starbucks gift card.

The show we were scheduled to see at Mystic Lake Casino canceled on us the day of the show! We had a room booked at The Hampton Inn Minneapolis/Shakopee and were really looking forward to the night when Mystic canceled the event. I called this Hampton, which is a great place to stay for shows at Mystic Lake, and they allowed me to cancel at the very last minute with no penalty. They understood my situation and went above and beyond to keep my business. The manager at this location is a true rock star when it comes to customer service.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. As soon as I walked into the lobby I was greeted by the 2 staff working. They made me feel very welcome and even suggested a close by restaurant to eat at (my kids and I were starving and asked what was close by). All staff I encountered were smiling and friendly. Our room was very nice. Beds were SO comfortable. My only complaint would be the remote not working for our tv..not sure what the actual issue was as I never called the front desk to have them come fix it. Other then the remote issue everything was great. Clean and decent location. Also very nicely priced. And the breakfast was decent too.

I believe this was our 4th year working with the events coordinator, Lisa, in booking our use of the meeting room for 3 days straight so we can "move in" for the weekend and craft into the wee hours of the morning. We also book several hotel rooms so we get just get on the elevator and lay our head on the pillow. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our VR Family Christmas was an amazing experience, with much thanks to the staff and rooms at the Hampton Inn, Shakopee, MN!
Felicia checked us in and made sure ALL our needs were met, Hiwot went out of her way when the guest laundry failed. She stepped up and dried my great niece's blanket! the breakfast buffet was well maintained, always clean and food were Hot, sorry I missed her name! this is 3 of 4 years at the Hampton and we'll see you again next year!! We went to TCSummerJam and twos years ago we went to we stayed in Chanhassen and was to far for us to drive to the event. This was less then a mile away staying here and more convenient. The staf was awesome at the front desk, Lisa at the front made me feel welcome from the get go. The night front desk person on Thursday night was awesome becasue he fixed our AC wasn't working, Didn't cathc his name. The staff for breakfast was very awesome as well.

The Hampton Breakfast Experience is served daily from 6am - 10am
We do not I am sorry to say. We do keep our pool at about 86 degrees to make it a bit more enjoyable.
Thank you tolly246 for answering, they are correct about 45 minutes with traffic, 30 minutes to the MSP airport or Mall of America. There are some public transportation options if you go to mvta (Minnesota valley transit). Thanks!

At this time we only do shuttles on New Yrs. Eve to the casino.
Many people utilize Uber for this. Or you can call from our hotel to Canterbury Race park their shuttle, then take it to Canterbury and hop on their Trolley.
