This is a good place to camp if you want to be right on Lake Superior. Most campsites are well spaced and some are right on the lake shore. There are a few full hook-ups, and many sites with water/electric. There's lots of shade and fair interior roads. Note that there is no dump station. The restrooms are nice and... More

We stayed in campsite 11 in an RV. We had a partial view of Lake Superior and was greeted with a much needed warm welcome on our late arrival due to vehicle issues (crabby and tuckered by then). The weather was warm with a light breeze and we landed in a clean, functional (water, electric, spacious) site. It was lightly... More

80 miles from Duluth and 66 miles to Grand Portage. Lamb's Resort is a great midway place to stay while exploring the North Shore. Some of the campsites are less than 10 feet from Lake Superior! Lots of kids here - it appears to be a popular place for family reunions. The midnight noise from hwy. 61 was a bit... More

Upon arrival, we were treated so hospitably by the 2 women in the office. They couldn't have been more friendly or knowledgeable. They greeted us like long time family and it was the first time our family had been there! We camped. The campsites are adequate. We had site 59A and it had direct access to the lake. We liked... The camp sites are very close to one another. The lakeside sites have better access to the lake but only few has better view. The firepalce has no grill over it and varies in size with respect to sites. To summarize, it is pet friend,ly camp ground with access to beautiful beach and scenic Lake Superior

We stayed at Lamb's resort to make a weekend out of the Lutsen 99er Mountain bike race. We stayed in a tent right by Lake Superior. The view was breathtaking. Our family loved the campgrounds. The staff does an amazing job at keeping the facilities and sites clean. The showers, restrooms and port-a-potties were clean and empty. They have a... More

This is a superior campground on Lake Superior in northwest Minnesota. They have full hookup sites, sites with water and electricity and tent sites. They have shower facilities and a playground for your children/grandchildren. It is beautiful, relaxing and has a very friendly staff. Who could ask for more?

We originally reserved a campsite, but my wife made me change the reservation to a cabin (which the staff graciously accommodated) since the weather called for the possibility of thunderstorms. We are glad that did, since we awoke to lightning and rain. The cabin was rustic, but still quite comfortable. The walk along the private shoreline is highly recommended.

Camped in the north lot. Had water, sewer and electric. Only stayed overnight. All of the sites are nice. Mostly situated in a wooded setting. Some tent sites are very close to the beach. Do not have any utilities. Staff are very friendly. Beach is rocky. Prices are reasonable.

We loved our camp site (59A), just a few feet from the Lake Superior. It was unbelievable! And such beautiful scenery. Unfortunately, our dog wandered away while we were setting up our tent and fell in the lake. We successfully got her out safely. Just a reminder how quickly those things happen. Then it started raining, and raining, and raining.... More
