Detailed Reviews
Overall a good stay. The sites are very close together but with some assistance, my husband was able to get into the campsite. The bath house was clean and well maintained. The pool was small but we enjoyed it! The playground was fun for our daughter. The only negatives are how small the sites are and most importantly, the wifi. We struggled to receive text messages, never mind stream or do work as we were hoping to do. The website advertises a newly upgraded system but it was very spotty. Would love to see that aspect improved.

This campground is close to Minneapolis and easy access to 494. Would recommend if your traveling through and don't mind a urban type campground. Very clean and staff is very polite. The sites are level and clean. Surprisingly it is very quite after 9pm and the hosts are excellent. Note when making reservations be sure to ask if there are any vapor lights by your site. Water is almost at every site and electric as well.the sewer dump is accessed easily and traffic is at a minimum. Wifi is available and totally depends on your site location. Over all it is a good camp ground in fact above average A+

Nice clean campground. We felt safe. I would stay here again. The pool is small but clean. Management is friendly and helpful. Campers are close in proximity. It is close to valley fair that was nice.

The campground was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a nice pool. The game room was excellent. They had ping pong, air hockey, shuffleboard, and Fose ball. All of this was included in the camping fee. A nice quite place to relax

Great little park nicely maintained grounds. Quiet park shade and grass. Stayed here 2 nights while traveling so we could visit some relatives. Bath hose clean as well as the laundry. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area

Very nice campground. Nice pool and very clean bathrooms. Staff were excellent and were very understanding when a last minute issue forced us to leave a day early. There is a games room for kids and is only minutes from Valley Fair and Mall of America and a neat mall in Burnsville. Be sure to compare to other campgrounds in the area, you'll definitely want to stay here.

Savage MN Town and Country RV park. Don't stay there. Worse experience during our 6 years of traveling. One camp worker completely rude and aggressive to the point we were afraid to leave our RV unattended not knowing what she'd do to it. Owner took her word over other RV'ers that were actually parked closer to our rig than her that our dogs barked constantly. They do not and did not we have never gotten a complaint about them. Only spent one night there wouldn't go back. Was supposed to spend the summer there. Would never recommend.

Response from bgreenhalgh59, Guest Relations at Town & Country Campground
Responded May 21, 2018
Recent postings have described an unfortunate experience Darren and Julie had at Town & Country Campground in Savage, Minnesota. In retrospect, the management of Town & Country has acknowledged that the matter should have been handled differently and has contacted Darren and Julie to apologize and to ask if they'd be willing to return to the campground. The employee involved in the incident has been terminated and no longer resides at Town & Country. Town & Country has a long standing reputation as a family-friendly park and has vast numbers of repeat customers we believe would agree. This was an isolated incident and does not reflect Town & Country's commitment to excellence in customer service. We look forward to serving you if your travels bring you to the Twin Cities area. ~Owners - Town & Country Campground

We spent one night here on our way to south western mn because my husband had a meeting in shakopee the pool was great! Small enough for our kids and fenced in so they couldn't run all over... the showers and bathrooms were very clean and modern the sites were very nicely kept and playground was great for the kids!

This is the real deal. Mostly level gravel sites, lots of shade, nice pool and hot tub, and plenty of grass. Yes, the sites are a little close - but this is more of a home base to visit the area than a camping experience.
There are seasonal sites, and year round sites, but this was not an issue for us as all the folks we met were friendly. The area is well kept, and the owners and the work campers take a real interest in making sure the place is kept quiet and spotless.
The wifi was some of the best we have seen, and there are enough cable TV stations for everyone.
All in all a great launching pad for the twin cities.

This campground has industrial park, suburb, and creek surrounding it. It is a great base camp to explore. The pool was heated and hot tub and pool area clean. Laundry was 2$ a load plus drying $.25 to add time. The bathrooms on the men side were a little cramped but clean and it was clear they looked in on the bathrooms. The showers were adequate. Didn't use the playground but it was in use by kids and looked good. The sights were fairly level. Would stay again.

Yes. There are tent sites.
"close to Mall of America and other attractions, casino, lakes. There is a path in the NW corner of campground that goes along power lines and turns into a paved path that goes to a park with a walking path."Read full review
