We stayed at this campground when we visited the Mall of America. The owners and workers were all very friendly. The owner actually unhooked our tow dolly from the RV and pushed it onto our site himself. Most of the sites are quite small and close together. The seasonal sites are larger and in nice woodsy areas that are well maintained. The pool was small but it was not a problem. They switched to a saltwater system, so that was different. My son said the water felt much more buoyant. Their bathrooms and showers were well placed and clean. They had a game room, but it had a very bad chemical smell, which the worker we talked to said was from refinishing the floor. I don’t think I would have wanted to stay in there very long due to the smell. The building contained a couch, chair, many tables and chairs, board games, puzzles, and a ping pong table. I thought it was too bad they didn’t have a couple of arcade games as well. They offer planned children’s craft activities on the weekends, and they are FREE! And they also have a community fire at their fire pit on certain evenings. If you can find space on your site to put a fire ring, you have to rent one and buy the wood from them. When we were there, we didn’t spend any time outdoors in the evenings as the mosquitoes there are HUGE and in full attack mode. I think putting in some bat houses would be a good investment. We stayed for four nights and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Check in went well-- staff is very nice and accommodating BUT please know that spots are RIDICULOUSLY small/tight-- I could almost touch 3 other rigs from our picnic table. Most residents are seasonal and while some were friendly, they mostly kept to themselves. Train noise was fairly loud and occurred as early as 5/6AM, highway noise was not as loud, but still occurred. Pool was nice, but very small. All in all, other than location, I can't recommend, especially at nearly $70/night (which included upcharges for kids/dogs)-- we only booked here as we didn't have any other local options for a last minute camping weekend. Also, the owner's sister (lives on site) was TRULY AWFUL-- yelled at my husband for walking our dog on her property (there were NO signs to suggest/warn not to, she literally lives IN the park, nor did our dog pee/poo on her lawn, he literally only walked there)-- and then she complained about our dogs making noise (twice, during the day, while they were inside our rig fully supervised and making zero noise)-- the staff member apologized that he had to respond to the complaint and hinted strongly that she wasn't reasonable. It IS a great/convenient location but we prefer larger spots and somewhere that a single stray bark during the day won't elicit a noise compliant and without train/road noise, especially when it is nearly double the price that we typically pay at other parks.

Small campground, but friendly people. Nice pool area. Each site comes with a picnic table, but no firepit. However, they have a community firepit which is nice. Very clean, nice bathrooms/showers. Decent sized campsites. Conveniently located to the Twin Cities. Not too far from the MSP airport, so you do hear some jets overhead.

What lovely people running this place! So friendly and so helpful. They recommended a wonderful restaurant for us to go to dinner, it was so good we went two nights in a row Our RV site was comfortable. The laundry facility was excellent. The shower and toilets had special touches with a large fan to help with the heat wave, little bottles of soap and the staff had gone out of there way to make it nice. The shower rooms were of a good size and they had lots of hooks to hang up your stuff.

Town & Country Campground is a fairly small RV Park that is conveniently located near the events and attractions of the Twin Cities. I stayed there for several days while I visited friends and family members and attended several events. The owners and staff members are incredibly friendly and helpful. My site was the perfect size for my Class B Campervan although the sites are fairly close together. There are other sites that are much larger and I saw everything from tents to large 5th wheel trailers. The site surface was gravel and crushed rock and I did not need to do anything to level my van. The facilities are nicely maintained and the restrooms and showers are neat and clean. I appreciated the military discount and the great location.
