Wonderful and safe feeling experience. The entire staff were great and so was the room! This was my first visit and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Hope to go back sometime soon. There are many places to eat or get food around, too!

Just a wonderful stay at a charming grand hotel that is ready to welcome people but prepared to keep you safe during your stay. A great option for a staycation or for an out of town visit to lovely downtown St Paul.

In general my stay here was commendable. Had some struggles with valley parking when I arrived after hours; however, staff was accommodating and friendly. No complaints. I'm a bit frustrated with trying to submit this review and getting repeated reminders that I have to have 200 characters in order to submit a response. This is limiting and should be adjusted.

We checked into the Saint Paul Hotel after a short twelve-minute LYFT ride from the Minneapolis/Saint Paul Airport. We had seen photos on-line and we read about it on their website. Everything the owners have written about it is somewhat understated. It is much, so much more. The architecture alone is worth the stay, with its crystal chandeliers in the lobby, fireplace, elegant molding, plinth blocks and an ambience set in the 1940s, one finds himself walking around agog at the design and craftsmanship. Check in was a breeze, and within a few minutes we were opening about a three-hundred square foot room (my guess) with a king bed, sitting area, a large desk, a bureau that doubled as a refrigerator, coffee pot Cabinet, and flat screen stand. All of the modern technology cleverly hidden out of sight, but easily found with a little poking around. This of course included free wi-fi, charging ports almost everywhere, and the ability to cast movies from your favorite streaming service to the flat screen. We spent three nights there while in town for a wedding, and we used their very classy room-service several times for meals, enjoyed a drink at the lobby bar, and had coffee one evening in the very elegant parlor. We did not have to park a car since we used a ride service, but they do offer valet parking. All in all, it was a great place to stay and when the next wedding comes up in West Saint Paul – which may be sooner than we think – we definitely will be staying at the Saint Paul Hotel.
