I stayed here for one night due to a work trip and I had a wonderful stay. My room was very nice and clean, with a beautiful view of St. Paul. The staff was also exceedingly kind and went out of their way to accommodate an early check-in for me, even though I know it was exceptionally early. They were nothing but kind and hospitable and I just truly enjoyed my stay.

The staff at the hotel were top knotch. I was taken back with respect to parking. There was not valet parking available due to Covid and no food service available. All understandable. But, parking was less than desirable. There was maybe a quarter block to pull in front and check in. You needed to load a luggage cart at that time and move eveything to your room (might be 17th, 18th, 19th, etc. floor) and then come back down to return luggage cart and then go to the parking garage. The cost for parking was $24. The parking garage needs updating in every respect. It's dark, unkept, very low ceilings and most certainly not welcoming. There was not a feeling of security. That alone would keep me from staying again.

This is my 3rd visit to the hotel and the service quality is very consistent during my 3 stay. The team is warm and welcoming to me and greatly listened my request for my stay. The room seems regular compare to all the IC I have been to, but the view is absolutely amazing and unique. Overall, a very pleasant stay and highly recommend to everyone.

I offer this review, trying to ignore Covid and not comparing to newer properties. With that said, not as nice as other Intercontinental properties, but overall aging gracefully. Highly recommend a river view, spectacular - winter or summer. But close your curtains after dark! The aging windows chill your room quickly. Furnishings are retro 60’s / 70’s style funky, but obviously not that old. But I’d say for glass on my coffee table looked 20 years old. If you need to do work, Internet was a toss up. At times reasonable speeds, at other times it would barely connect. Bed was OK, with substandard linens given the brand, and the room AC blew right over the bed. Loud with a constant breeze all night. TV’s are about 10” too small, in my humble opinion. Nice bathrooms with standard toiletries. Odd European style 1/4 glass wall shower, with a rather pedestrian shower head. Nice dual basin sink (corner suite). No food service, because you know... Covid. Sub-standard pantry offerings. It’s time laggard properties embrace the change and figure out how to be full service again. Yes my stay was post MN reopening. Front desk staff was welcoming and friendly.

Thank you for writing us a review. I am pleased to read that there were aspects of your stay which met your expectations for your stay. Our corner rooms, with views of the Mississippi river, are some of the most favorite rooms in the Twin Cities. We understand your frustrations with our food and beverage outlets being closed and we do hope to open them up as soon as we can. We hope for another opportunity to exceed your expectations in the future.
