Front desk help was helpful for the most part. One red-headed female receptionist was not friendly and acted annoyed if u asked for something, but that was the exception to the rule. Food was excellent, nice pool and hot tub, housekeeping did a great job. Very nice place.
Beds were soft and comfortable. Room doors shut loudly. Thought someone was knocking when a door closed close by. Hot tub had too much chlorine and burned my eyes to sit in. Gated hotel with parking fee which we didn't notice until we arrived at hotel. Breakfast was pretty good.
We stayed here because of the shuttle service to the Xcel center as we attended the KISS Final Tour concert. The hotel surpassed our expectations. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast in the morning sure hit the spot after a long fun night. Staff went above and beyond. One of the breakfast staff brought us scrambled eggs right to our table as they had been out when we went through the buffet line. That was pretty awesome! We will definitely be staying here again when attending Xcel events.
Came to St. Paul to watch the San Jose Sharks play the Wild. This hotel was a great choice. Staff was very friendly. Free Breakfast. Hotel was clean. Rooms also. Bathroom had a low ceiling so I felt a little claustrophobic. Bed was comfy, but would have preferred bigger pillows. Each bed had 4 smaller than normal pillows. About a twenty minute walk from the Arena and local restaurants. It’s a nice stroll if you’re not in the mood to take an Uber. Enjoyed my stay here overall.
Arrived early so that we could get checked into the hotel only to find that the room was not ready for another 45 minutes after arrival. No concessions were given and the staff only said that the management was aware. 2-15-20
