One of the two men calling the shuttle was rude and evasive on multiple days. Everyone else was wonderful. Does the Grand Kahler still have patient rates for rooms and parking? Someone mentioned this after I got back home, and it surely would have been appreciated. Aside from the above, it was a great place to stay for medical care...

The room was well appointed but the plumbing in the bathroom left much to be desired as it leaked, but only when running, The hotel itself was attached to the Mayo Clinic with good service, nice dining, and no need to be exposed to the brutal winter temperatures.

Easy convenient and a wonderful place to stay I had appointments at the Mayo Clinic and staying at the Grand Kahler made my stay very easy. Using the subway when it was bitter cold worked perfect. Great service, friendly staff!!!

The hotel staff are very nice. Pity I can't say the same about the room. I've stayed in nicer motels. Worn , ancient carpet with holes in it, mold in the corners of the shower. Nothing to recommend this place aside from location.

We stayed at Kahler Grand for its convenience for being connected to the Mayo Clinic for those early appointments. But for the price, your paying for historical nostalgia of the 1950s and parking. Beds are hard, pillows are flat. The bathrooms are stuck in the 1950s, as a 5'8" person those showers were short for me. But the bottle opener...

I had read the reviews of The Kahler and figured out that the older rooms were not great and that we should opt for an upgraded one. When I called to upgrade, I was told that we would get an upgraded from a standard to a deluxe. However, when we checked in, we were listed as having a standard room....

The Kahler Grand has seen better days in the past, I do believe. However, it has the best location in town for appointments at the Mayo Clinic. The restaurants are good, and there is a Starbucks on the lower level (however they close early). The hotel is connected by sky walks to the mall & other retail.

Location is great, convenient to Mayo clinic. Room not cleaned properly, dirty soap left in shower by previous occupant. Heating system very noisy. TV remote partly defective. Noticed a piece of transparent plastic debris in hallway that was there for at least 3 days. Plumber went twice to beef up the toilet flush. You must access pool by climbing 4...

I have stayed at this hotel and always loved it. Lots of old world charm, character, plenty of restaurants and connected to everything via skyways and subways. Unfortunately, this time went to a conference over a weekend and everything was different. I went to the pool area and it was overrun with children and teenagers. Most were unattended and the...

This hotel was perfect for our family's week-long stay for Mayo Clinic appointments. The hotel is literally steps away from Mayo using the "subway = underground walkway" from the hotel. The price was reasonable for such a convenient location. We also saved money by not needing a rental car. The hotel has 2 restaurants. We ate every night at the...
