This hotel is 2 blocks from Mayo Clinic, but even though I'm here when it's 19 degrees outside, I can walk to the clinic in 5 minutes in their underground tunnel they refer to as the subway. Since I'm from FL, I didn't need a coat the whole time! But the best part of staying here is the Happy Hour...

Stayed at Residence Inn Rochester for about 3 weeks in December while accompanying someone undergoing medical care and surgery at Mayo Clinic's Methodist Hospital. Very convenient to appointments via subway. If you want to visit patient in Methodist Hospital after 8:30 p.m. there is just one set of doors you'll have to buzz security to get through to get to...

The Room was laid out as expected. Ample room with nice designated spaces within Studio room (i.e. Bedroom, dining, living, kitchen, office). The property was clean and was conveniently located the the Mayo Clinic. Although the property was good the service was not that great. There were several times that had to sit waiting (for more then 5 minutes) to...

We were there for a week and never had to go outside for anything! The hotel accesses the underground walking tunnel (the Subway) that goes to all the Mayo Buildings. It was a five-minute eash walk to Charlton and Gonda; very easy to navigate whether in a wheelchair or on foot. Great support in a quality breakfast and some evening...

I stayed for a week while my husband was a patient on the Methodist Campus. It was a great location. I could walk the short distance back and forth in the subway. The staff of this hotel was accommodating and kind. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We will be back.

The winters in MN are delightful for me since I journey from a very warm state. However, I prefer to make my time outside optional. Therefore, I always stay at the Residence Inn when it's very cold outside. From the inside elevator, I only need to ride down to the well-traveled, temperature-controlled, security-monitored subway that leads directly to the Mayo,...

Like many guests, we visited the hotel while visiting the Clinic, which has some inherent stresses. In addition to having very convenient access to the Clinic I was especially grateful for the empathy, kindness and encouragement the hotel staff extended. I felt welcome and comfortable. The hotel itself was clean, secure and very nicely appointed AND the bed is comfortable....

I have stayed twice now at the Residence Inn and I always sleep so well at this hotel. It is very quiet. The staff are friendly and professional. I feel they are always trying to go the extra mile to help guests.

The Marriott team in Rochester is one that repeatedly goes above and beyond for its guests. Their GM is always responsive and provides a personal experience for our team of weekly travelers. Groups large and small will enjoy their service.

This hotel has access to the pedestrian subway so you can reach Mayo Clinic facilities inside in inclement weather. The lobby and room is very nice. Everything was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the linens were nicer than those in the more upscale Marriott a few blocks away. The front desk staff was welcoming and efficient. Don't expect a...
