We have traveled to Remer for over 10 years and this was our first stay at Big Springs. It was a great stay. They had all the accommodations fishermen need for cleaning fish and a great lake front with docks and a launch. Of the many places visited this was the best. Management was friendly and helpful. The spacious grounds are park-like, and good rules made for quiet evenings. Other guests were friendly and many were repeats, some have been returning for over 30 years! I have read the other reviews, they cannot be true. One talks about a hotel, there is not... More

I go on holiday at least twice per year and i always stay in 3 and 4* hotels. I have never changed hotels but i did on this occasion. This hotel is a 2* at the most. You get what you pay for at £19 per night, a family member booked this hotel for us and we did not expect... More

I had read reviews the resorts owners were rude, mean, condescending... I decided to go anyway because Thunder is such a beautiful lake and this is the only campground on it.
