On a quaint little road! Not many people for a Friday evening. Excellent service & good food choices on menu! Ribs were great. Waitress had great suggestions. Will go back again! Went on to theater in Lanesboro!

Great place to stop when you're biking the Root River Trail - a halfway point between Lanesboro and Fountain or Lanesboro and Preston. The food is fine, service is good, and it's situated at the top of a hill with an overlook to the golf course. Very family-oriented for lunch. Food is OK - nothing particularly interesting but it was...

This is a beautiful campground with a picturesque golf course. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. A big plus is that the beautiful state trail runs through the park. We enjoyed a leisurely bike ride into Lanesboro and will be back to enjoy that again. The sites are nice although the hookups at our site were a bit awkwardly spaced...

We stopped here for a late lunch while we were riding our bicycles along the trail. Breathtaking views of the area...typical bar and grill type food which was good for a light lunch. Note: steep narrow hill road up to the Old Barn so be careful riding bicycles up and then coming down.

Couldn't have said it better -- breathtaking views! We sit in an amazing part of Bluff Country. We feel pretty fortunate to be where we are. Did you know there really aren't any mosquitoes either? Although the narrow hill up to the The Barn is doable, we do have a different paved entrance directly off the trail as well. If...

Really nice and neat golf course. Golfed there Sat and all was good for the most part. Went back Sunday, it was a disaster. Card said no more that 4 in a group. There was a group of 10, a group of 8 and two groups of 6. Took us forever to play 9 holes and ruined our whole outing....

We agree, our golf course is very neat. Our 18 hole golf course sits in Bluff Country in SE MN, along a beautiful river. We greatly appreciate all that we have to offer. We're sorry your golf outing was not as enjoyable as it should have been. We have already made our staff aware of this. They know to be...

We stayed here for two nights with two other couples on three separate tent sites - none of which were appropriate tent sites. I should of taken the time to read the reviews. If I had, I never would of booked here. The description of the tent site on the web page simply stated there was a small walk up...

Thank you for your honesty, and sorry you didn't completely enjoy your trip at the Old Barn Resort. We are aware of the hill on H row and do our best to make our customers aware of it in advance. We apologize if we didn't communicate this to you. Just like with everything else that our resort offers, we are...

While on the trail to Lanesboro from Harmony, Preston or Fountain, do take time and stop at The Barn for a break. It is a beautiful property, family friendly, with a great venue for food and drink. Yes, you can have an old time Greenbelt or Sheels, or an Alaskan Amber or Stella Cider, and an order of ribs to...

I stayed with my two kids mid-week. Very quiet during the week, which we liked. We tubed several times in two days. Very family friendly and nice river. So great you can walk down, float, and walk back to campsite. The check-in was quick and friendly. Staff in the restaurant were nice and food was good. Our car battery was...

This is my second time camping in a tent at this resort! It is huge and there is so much to do there! There are no mosquitoes, which is so hard to believe in MN, but it is true! It has something to do with the Limestone and the valley and being on the river! There is a golf course,...

It's like staying in a old, dingy basement with no natural light.... don't do it. 70's furniture, some that were ducktaped. Cracked serving bowls, so grose. Flys flying in all the time. Cement floors that flooded, staff did not come check on them, we had to squeegee ourselves. DJ above rocked the basement til after 12pm, no one could sleep....
