We stayed here only because there were few options in this area if traveling with a dog. Going into our first-floor room from outside, we were greeted by rusted metal posts supporting the upper balcony, rust-stained broken cement walkways, and a large ashtray filled with wet cigarette butts, The inside wasn't much better. The towel rack was hanging off the... More

You get what you pay for here. Cheap rates, cheap, dirty hotel. Old, grungy and poorly maintained with worn out, poorly fitting sheets, thin towels and a stuck door that needed a kick to open. Suggest you keep driving rather than stop in Pine River if this is the best the town can offer.

The used coffee filter was still in the coffee pot, pee stains from previous guests still on the toilet, we wrote our names in the grime on the mirror, smelled weird but otherwise decent nights sleep. Close to Bites grill. Great dinner and EXCELLENT breakfast.

It was a poorly decorated room and very expensive. The room was not clean, the floor in the bathroom and dirt on it and I used a tissue and it came up so they do not clean very well. The sink and faucet area was also dirty. The prices were very expensive considering they have very little to offer.

We got here early and they let us come on in. Very friendly. Our rooms were really clean and nice. Apparently things have changed since the other reviews. Bathrooms were clean. Beds were clean. I can definitely recommend this place as I would stay here again. Thanks again.

If you don't mind dead bugs, random hairs in the shower and dust all over, then this place is for you! We did go to Bites down the street and that was good! A little TLC and better cleaning and this place wouldn't be so bad.

We stayed at The Roadway Inn in Pine River, MN during a family reunion over the Fourth of July weekend. After entering the room it reeked of fish. I contacted the front desk and she came to clean out the fridge. I asked if we could be moved to another room and she said there were no rooms available. I... More

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Both times the staff was pleasant and the rooms were clean. The beds were reasonable comfortable. The rooms are certainly outdated, but the price is right. My only two complaints; the foot of water I was standing in while taking a shower - gross. This was due to the... More

Choose this placed because of proximity to Paul Buyan bike trail. The staff could not seem less interested in service here...Placed in room 208. It was dirty, and to my horror discovered bed bugs as soon as pulled back sheets...see pictures...Informed staff who acted like they were moving me to a larger room. Seriously!!! Then staff had nerve to indicate... More
