We have beautiful 2, 3 and 4 bedroom cabins, ALL with a lakeside screen porch and several with fireplaces. We are located north of the Park Rapids (known for its cute downtown) and also just 12 minutes south of the Mississippi Headwaters, at Itasca State Park! We believe in the cozy, comfortable, beautiful, inspiring, and serene setting of being in the trees, near the water, and watching all the wildlife. Our cute cabins are situated on 1000 feet of level lakeshore, each one just feet from the water's edge. We face west, so enjoy a beautiful sunset every single night! Our grounds are spacious and private, and our swimming beach offers plenty of quality water toys, paddle boards, water trampoline/slide, and a climbing wall to entertain your kids. Four sizes of boats are available for rent, two pontoons, or if you bring your own boat dock space is always FREE!
Perfect amenities and impeccably clean cabin. Checkin and checkout were smooth, grounds were ADORABLE, and there were so many things around to do for all ages. Cabins are really solid, beds were nice and firm. Plates, serving dishes , cooking utensils and corkscrew mean you can visit without lugging around disposable flatware or live off the microwave and grill.

My husband and I had a wonderful time in cabin 2 for 5 nights in October 2020. We found the cabin had everything we wanted, was clean and comfortable and well equipped so we could cook our favorite foods. The windows overlooking the lake were large and gave us a great view of the changing weather and the calming water.
I loved taking walks through the property, watching our grandchildren play pool and basketball and enjoying the amazing fire pit. ( our son and his family were in the Treetop cabin).
This was an ideal arrangement during the pandemic - we felt safe and had the luxury of being close to our grandchildren for the first time since this all happened. Thank you to Kayla and James for being the best hosts.

The hosts are as friendly and accommodating as can be, the cabin is spotless upon arrival, and the amenities are extensive. We sailed, fished, kayaked, "rock climbed" and swam. Nearby excursions include hiking at Itasca and golf.

James and Kayla are superb hosts. We come back every year for a family reunion, and they work hard to accommodate all our crew. Our cabin is always spotless, the recreation options are many and varied, and the location is beautiful and peaceful.

We just returned from the Two Inlets resort & had a wonderful time! Our family of 5 (3 college age children) all thanked me! We rented a 3 bdrm cabin, everyone had their own rooms, 1 slept on futon in living room. Cabins are clean, cupboards well stocked (I brought a griddle & a couple pans that I didn’t use, they were already there). We used the Adirondack chairs in the backyard viewing the lake and the picnic table & grill for most meals. Very relaxing, peaceful & private. Unfortunately our boat didn’t work when we got there, but the resort had plenty to keep us busy! Kayaking, paddle boarding, pedal boat, canoe, bean toss game & shuffleboard (which none of us has ever played) became a favorite competition game! We went to Itasca State Park (short drive)one morning to see the Mississippi River headwaters. And we went out for pizza one night at Zorbaz in Park Rapids. James & Kayla are wonderful hosts & run a great resort! You won’t be disappointed!
I forgot to mention- no tv & no internet! My kids survived! When they needed to, they went to the office to ck their emails, Skype call for work, etc. We played lots of cards & board games at night 😊

Kayla and James – Our stay at cabin 5 ½ with our family of 7 adults and 2 children was so relaxing and fun. The weather was cool in October, but the lake and fall colors were beautiful. We have always looked forward to the hospitality, clean cabins and fun activities at the resort and surrounding area over the past twenty years – and are never disappointed. We look forward to be back at Two Inlets again!

This is the perfect place to escape all stresses of daily life. It has everything you need on site and close to town if you need anything extra. The cabins are spotless and far enough apart to feel private. There are complimentary canoes and bikes available for use and rent-able boats.

Two Inlets Resort is such a great family run and family amenable resort on a beautiful lake in the North Woods of Minnesota. The area is perfect for those seeking a quiet and laid back experience, although fast action in a speed boat on the lake is possible! Super clean and charming cabins, nice beach area, play areas for children, proximity to hiking in Itasca State Park plus golf courses in the area round out the possibilities for a week of vacation with extended family. James and Kayla are forever cheerful and helpful as hosts. We've booked again for next year!

My family of 14 was skeptical of a week in the North Woods lakeside. We worried about mosquitoes and grand kids said “what will we do there”?? All fears and worries were erased as soon as we drove in to the beautiful peaceful resort.
Two Inlets is a magical place away from the hectic, noisy city life of Seattle and Virginia (Washington DC). It was heaven to swim out to the trampoline and then rest on the slippy slide raft for this elderly (77) lady. The kayaks were also fun, fishing and touring the lake on the pontoon boat was great.
The grandkids swam every day or played in the sand. They rode bikes, loved the climbing wall and played on all the playground equipment.
At the end of our days just sitting on the dock watching the sunset or playing games in our cabins was healing for our spirits. And s’mores around the campfire added to the kids’ delight.
Kayla, James, Jameson and Hadley plus helpers make this the best spot for reunions so far. Clean cabins, all necessary amenities, air conditioning, playgrounds and accessibility to Park Rapids is key.

Two Inlets Resort has been a favorite of mine for many years! I have stayed in a number of different cabins. The cabins are top notch because they are exceptionally clean, have great showers, awesome porch furniture, comfortable beds, and high quality bedding! All the cabins have a screened in porch. The cabins are nicely spread out so privacy even on the screened porches is possible. The beach is manicured every morning. I enjoyed catching small fish and pan fish off the dock. The fire pit with wonderful chairs is awesome! Why do so many families return year after year, because James and Kayla are like family. They share their resort, their home with their Two Inlets families. See you at the lake!!
