The hotel was super clean and my king bed room was spacious. I was on the 14th floor, and had a decent view if I looked left and right, but right across was another building (city view, they said). Given COVID, hotel was and felt empty, so staff were extra willing to help - e.g I needed a plate to heat some food up. Bedroom wasn't refreshed before my second night, but that could be because of COVID and/or I used two free night certs that can't be booked on the same reservation. Hotel was centrally located for me to get to the train in 5 minutes, and despite the limited restaurant options during COVID, walkable to enough of those as well. It is a block away from several strip clubs which surprised me.

I wish I had read more honest reviews before booking my reservations at this hotel. Downtown Minneapolis is a ghost town. Places are boarded us and many of the streets are closed off due to the rioting that went on. I stayed Oct 3-5. I checked in on Oct 3 and the desk clerk tanner assisted me. I asked to upgrade my room and he informed me that there would be an additional charge of 15 dollars per night. I declined. My room was on the 6th floor. The room was not pretty. Stains on carpet and chair. The view was over the meeting room so I was unable to see outside. I took a shower and there was no hot water only warm water. The toilet did not look like it had been clean. I cleaned the toilet myself. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING. I had to pay 23 dollars per night to park. When I asked the rude desk clerk about the (I didn’t get his name. He worked overnights) parking he said “We don’t own the lot. We charge overnight guest 23 dollars. I’m not sure how much you will have to pay if you pay the lot directly.” This place is a disgrace. I would have gotten the same treatment before the rioting and looting. I would never step foot back into a raddison’s hotel. I did stay at the raddison’s near mall of America a couple of years ago and the desk clerk was extremely friendly, nice, honest and accommodating. The cleaning service was not the best. Found hair in my shower at that location but the room was still nice.

Beautiful hotel. It is also near several restaurants. I typically stay in budget hotels, but decided since I was in a major city to stay somewhere nice. The price was extremely reasonable. I was up high enough so I didn't have to deal with ambient noise. The hallway was quite in the daytime. This was a great place to finish up my Midwest tour.

My friend and I stayed for a night and we will definitely be returning next year except we will make sure to book a longer stay. This hotel is in fantastic shape and the staff is beyond attentive, especially James from the Front Desk. The rooms are brilliantly designed with spacious bathrooms. There is even an on-site restaurant, Fire Lake, which offers delicious food at fantastic prices.

Melissa was amazing. We got at night, tired and after a long trip, she was Accommodating and professional. This was a special event for us and she Made our trip so much better with little gestures. I have no words to express how much she changed this trip for the best. Thank you again!!!
