We have stayed twice and will again I am certain. The first occasion was our daughter's wedding in 2019. The wedding activities were not here but we had more than 20 rooms booked for guests and never heard a negative word. Before Covid so the valet parking was wonderful; bell hops friendly and helpful, front desk always covered and knowledgable. I personally did not eat in the hotel but my husband did and said it was good. The second time was in 2021 for our granddaughters baptism. Again, every aspect of service was superb, Covid style. No valet parking and restaurants closed but housekeeping was great and on time. It's a tricky place to get into but once you master that side road it's easy in and out. With in-law family living there we plan to go many times and will stay here as it is central to everything.…
We sort of Forrest Gumped our way into staying here and now it is our our favorite hotel chain. The decor and demeanor is folksy and I understand that the various locations are designed to reflect the esthetic of the local community. We actually stayed at this one in Minneapolis as well as the one in East Lansing, MI. Both were above and beyond. Super friendly staff, the rooms were very nice and with real furniture. Our room in Minneapolis had a bit of an ice hockey theme which was very near and dear to our hockey playing family's hearts. There were even enough towels. This will certainly be the first hotel chain I look for when I am traveling in the future. I'm looking forward to staying at different ones. I hear the one in Nashville is over the top!
I loved the Graduate. It's right on the University of Minnesota campus and the location is great. There is a light rail stop right in front of the hotel and lots of eateries nearby. The hotel has a beautiful aesthetic and I totally loved my room. It was spacious with a great bathroom. Had a great time at the Graduate.
We came from out of state for a game and had a great experience. This hotel could not be any closer to the stadium and right on campus. We have stayed at Graduate Hotels on other campus and recommend them if you are traveling to see you team.
Really unique spot in the heart of everything. It’s literally steps from the Light Rail which makes it convenient to get from the airport and other places around town. There’s also a Starbucks, ChickFilA and the hotel’s own restaurant all on the hotel’s first floor. But if you aren’t interested in those, there are lots of local eateries nearby in walking distance. They have shuffle board, air hockey, and pool you can play for free. There is also a Top Golf arcade to play games at a cost. Nice vibe, cool atmosphere, lots of fireplaces. The lobby can get a bit crowded at times because it doubles as a student study space. But there’s plenty of seating in other areas.
We greatly appreciated our stay at the Graduate Minneapolis. Great experience & great location. One caution, hotel parking is limited & can be an issue. There is a public deck across the street. Also, you need to scan your key coming & going. Do so even if the gate stuck is open. I didn't leaving & had some trouble getting back in that evening. I was "already parked".
I have loved my stay at the Graduate hotel - very friendly and professional staff in a relaxing environment. The hotel is spotlessly clean. I especially loved the location - 2 mins walk from East Bank Light rail station, 3 mins walk to the gophers stadium and with all the shops and amenities of campus in easy walking distance. Special mention must go to Maddison on reception at the hotel - her beautiful smile and always happy to help demeanour were exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble and she helped make the stay such a wonderful experience. I cannot wait to return soon.
The menu was very limited and the quality of the food was poor. No consideration for food allergies or religious restrictions on food (pork...) the beds are small. You can hear the connecting rooms activities
Stayed for business. Convenient location, nice room and friendly staff. Brilliant to have access to UM recreation facilities. Bike availability also excellent. Food options not great but plenty near by.
This is my third time staying here and it is always a great experience. Great location and clean. Everything I want to get to is within walking distance. My daughter attends University of Minnesota and this is my go to place to stay when I visit.
