Room was great. Conference area layout is a bit confusing though! Annoying having to use your room key to call the elevator every time. Nice firm pillows. Not sure what else they want me to write to get up to 200 characters. There I did it.

From the moment we stopped to unload luggage and throughout our stay, the staff was very cordial. Our room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Food during our conference was tasty and restaurant & bar were very accomodating. Several restaurants within walking distance and we really enjoyed our stay!

The guest room is worser than expected. The space, the furniture, the bedding and bathroom are not as good as expected as a top tier of Hyatt hotel which charges a highest price in the area. The surrounding environment is very good with lots of green space. Self parking is convenient with unlimited in and out access for $30 per day.

I loved the way the room was presented. The bed was amazing, the showers were phenomenal but the pull out beds are a comfort to be acquired, and would suggest bringing a memory foam covering to make it more satisfying. Overall would give the VIP Suite a 9.2/10

This is a very comfortable convention center hotel, and its fitness center may be the best I've ever seen in a convention hotel; it is spectacular. Some of the women at our convention found walking around Downtown Minneapolis, however, very uncomfortable due to the many closed businesses and the significant homeless population (and 2022 crime statistics). One (staying at a different hotel) told me the doorman had advised her not to go out alone, even in daylight.

Thank you! Our fitness center is certainly to be envied by other hotels!! As with any Metropolis area, some areas of the city have higher levels of crime than others. We like to tell our guests to enjoy the area, it's usually bustling during the day with some great lunch venues that are always busy but to definitely use caution at night and either Uber or Taxi to your destination.

Hotel was nice and so was staff. The hotel heating system works off a heat pump so the heat doesn’t kick in until it’s a certain temp outside. I’m from the south and just cold natured in general so when I got in town it was maybe high 60s low 70s which was freezing to me. Front desk quickly sent maintenance up and he was prompt in explaining things to me brought me a heater that was very small, quiet, and compact but heated up my whole room. I really appreciated them knowing their facility and what was going on and not thinking I’m just someone who is a complainer. I say this because I have traveled to another state that had this same heat system and they were not prepared for a guest like me who needed heat during the later summer early fall. Not even sure if maintenance at that hotel was as knowledgeable like the one at Hyatt Regency to know that during that time their unit would only blow out cold air when you put it on heat. I love that maintenance automatically knew what was going on and told me to just turn my heat off because it would only blow cold due to the heat pump setup and temperature outside, they also brought me a microwave to my room when I requested it. It made my time there for work very comfortable and cozy! Highly recommend.

I found the staff at this hotel to be helpful and friendly and accommodating. I would give them 5 stars (or more if I could). However, we booked an executive suite for my son's wedding so my daughter and her boyfriend could use the pull out couch. The pull out couch was stained and truly uncomfortable. The cushions were about 1" thick. The mattress in the pull out bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. You could feel the springs on your back when you laid on it. And there were no sheets in the room for that bed. I called guest services and had them bring up 2 roll-away beds to use instead (when I told them nobody should be expected to sleep on that pull out bed, they apologized over and over even though it wasn't their fault). Other than that, everything else was very nice. But I would expect a room called an Executive Suite to have better furnishings than that. I guess I would expect a hotel like the Hyatt Regency to have comfortable furnishings. If I were to stay there again, I would not stay in a room with a pull out couch. Everything else in the room was fine - comfortable bed, nice towels, easy to use thermostat, black out curtains, etc. But I was truly disappointed with the couch (which was the centerpiece of the living area and something we would use all weekend).

Hello, thank so much for sharing feedback about your stay. We truly appreciate hearing from our guests. I am very sorry about the sofa bed situation. I believe the hotel is currently working on some future renovation plans that will definitely include new furniture. We hope to have you back again in the future!

the hotel is clean and nice but the bed is sunk in. my back hurt the whole time. no microwave except on the 7th floor. I would not stay here if i had a choice. it would have been great if every room or every floor had a microwave. the restaurant inside the hotel is very expensive yet they take a few hours to get foods out to you.

I've been to this hotel for Multiple conventions, and would recommend its use from anything from 100 person to 6000+. Although people are sometimes confused with the multiple floors of convention space, you'll find with a little bit of planning an research the various floor's layout and spaces means it has a room(s) for just about any event you could want. The onsite dining is at least adequate with varieties from coffee shop to slightly higher end. Include downtown dining within walking distance and you have everything you need/want.
