Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Renaissance Depot, but we probably would try another hotel next time. It's one of the older incarnations of the Residence Inn, and the decor in our room was tired and in need of updating. We had a one bedroom suite, and the bedroom was smaller than other Residence Inns we've stayed in, particularly...

I'm happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. I do understand the condition of our hotel does need some updating. We are in the process of planning a renovation in the next year. I truly apologize for any inconvenience the elevator caused during your stay. I hope you will reconsider staying at our hotel if your travels bring...

I'm a theatrical tour manager. As such, I am in charge of hotel bookings for my tours. When I have a group going to Minneapolis, and I always do, I would only stay at The Residence Inn Depot. The property is very well kept, very well managed and the staff is second to none in customer service and professionalism. When...

A friend and I spent the weekend in Minneapolis seeing plays at the Guthrie. We parked the car and walked the four blocks to the theater and and another two to a restaurant. The hotel was very convenient. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. However, I would have liked a room with two beds. I slept on the...

Loved our stay at the Residence Inn in mid-January 2014. We were in town for the outdoor hockey games at TCF Stadium. The hotel was handy to all the places we were coming and going to - campus, shopping, restaurants. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The waterpark hours could have been better but we weren't at the hotel much...

Presently surprised. Wasn't sure, not usually my brand but nice hotel. Large rooms and great staff. The folks are helpful and know the way around. Have to admit I loved the heated garage! The breakfast was ok, but great for on the go. The coffee shop at the corner rocked as well. But that's another review! The internet free was...

Pros: The nicest water park staff ever experienced. Room had refrig. Cool building with appealing interior. Warm and convenient parking garage ($$). Blackout pull down shades. Excellent cleaning staff. Comfy beds. Cons: Small water park mostly for preteens. Not worth the extra $$$. No microwave in room. Room okay... satellite TV phased on/out. We went for the water park option,...

I stayed at Residence for 3 weeks as part of my company training. We also had training sessions at the hotel next door (Renaissance) so it was really comfortable to walk to the meetings. Residence is designed for a longer stay and is supposed to give you this 'home feeling'. I must say I felt really comfortable, the place was...

My wife and i stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn Depot New Years Eve and had a great time. I was a little concerned because of the attached water park and all the kids but it was a great night. The connected Rennaisance and Reidence did a great job to make it a fun night. Plus, connected to it al...

The Residence Inn Minneapolis Downtown at The Depot is consistent with other Residence Inns I've stayed at. It's very nice and clean with an abundance of room. I had a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and a big bathroom. I always take advantage of the microwave popcorn too! I had a small balcony overlooking the street too. The bed was...

We stayed here because we originally thought we would be traveling with our pet and this facility allows several kinds of pets. Parking is free, location is convenient for downtown Minneapolis, and you can choose outside parking or garage parking, subject to availability. It is walking distance to several restaurants and has a small convenience store off its lobby. Its...
