Pleasantly surprised with our recent stay at this hotel. Accommodations were better much than expected, staff was wonderful and the location was perfect. Don’t forget the fitness area here…it’s amazing!
We visited Minneapolis this past weekend and stayed at the Hyatt Centric. We were welcomed as Amex members and were offered the perks they go along with that without prompting. The property and room were cute and very clean. Our room in particular was very quiet as well. Everyone we encountered was professional and friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we come back! Thank you!
The hotel is beautiful and located in the heart of the city, so it is easy to get around. However, it is the fantastic staff that makes this a truly outstanding experience. From the moment we entered the gorgeous lobby we felt welcomed, and the staff was gracious and patient in answering all of our questions. The room was spacious and clean with plenty of outlets for all of our electronic gadgets. A pleasant surprise was the ping pong table in the gym which we all enjoyed!
The staff was great and the rooms have been updated and REALLY nice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Easy to get to local coffee (Spyhouse Coffee in Emery Hotel about 2 ½ blocks down the road and Hen House and 8th Street Grill very close as well.
The hotel and room was beautiful, roomy and clean. The only problem we had was with getting our rooms cleaned daily which we had requested. We would go out during the day anticipating a clean room to rest and get refreshed before the evening’s activities. What a surprise and disappointment to find our beds unmade and used towels in the bathroom. We had to leave our rooms both days that we were there to get it cleaned. The manager did try to make it up to use with some snacks and water which we appreciated. Overall, it was a good experience.
Very nice hotel with an amazing gym. Beds, bedding and pillows very nice. Rooms clean and tidy. Staff outstandingly helpful, ready to help or advise. Easy location for scooters, walking and Ubers. Parking across the street.
Overall this is a very nice hotel. The staff was very friendly, professional, and attentive. I received an upgrade to a suite as a Globalist, which is always appreciated. I will say the only negative of this hotel is the parking situation. It is a far walk through the Capella tower to the parking garage which also requires you to take stairs in a narrow hallway, which is not accommodating for persons with disabilities and very inconvenient if you have heavy or a lot of luggage. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food and the attention to detail the housekeeping staff had was top notch. The fitness center was huge and definitely a nice perk.
When I prepay for a room, I expect the money to be taken at that time. That's rather the point of prepayment. So imagine my upset when I arrive day-of, only for over $1,000 in charges and holds to be placed on the low-limit card I had planned to use for the weekend (specifically *because* I didn't want to overspend), and now I wasn't able to do anything thanks to the hotel. The room itself was lovely; comfortable, clean, and the bathtub was *amazing*, so it wasn't a total loss, but the check-in situation rather soured the weekend. The gentleman at the valet station that first night was a godsend, truly above and beyond as he helped me hunt down my friend who had gotten lost in the ramp (yay construction!). :D
We recently stayed two nights at the Hyatt Centric which was beautiful, clean and well maintained. It is in the middle of everything downtown. Highly recommend! We enjoyed the food and the bar. All employees were extremely friendly and helpful.
Excellent, friendly service, particularly from Corey Bradley, Front Desk Host and Garrette Green, Bartender. This staff works very hard and consistently demonstrates concern about customer experience. Manager Michael Berk reached out to me often to make sure I was enjoying my stay
