Always a great experience when we come in for our MSSA conference and expo.... was so pleased with the new check in and room key on the App- so smooth not having to wait in lines and get in and out..... room was clean and comfortable- no strange hairs in the bathroom which is a pet peeve of mine..... had a few conference event meals and the banquet staff are always so attentive and sweet especially Mike the Captain of many of our luncheons- even offering to go grab me my fav Iced Coffee that he has remembers year after year since we started holding our event in your hotel.....Mike is one of the reasons I love the Hilton as he always greets us with a smile, and I have never heard him say 'No'.... if you could clone him the world would be a better place..... he always makes us feel like we are special and the most important person to him!!! Can't wait for our 2024 Conference....…
I was in town for a big sports tournament, so there were lots of us in the hotel. But even though it was full, the room was clean, quiet and ready when I needed it. The front desk people were incredibly friendly and we even traded info on good restaurants. The location could not be beat -- a couple of blocks from the convention center, the stadium and all kinds of places to eat and see.
The friendliest staff and easy check-in process. A clean, beautiful hotel. Convenient downtown location, we walked with our small children to a restaurant and the light-rail station. Despite the recent portrayal of downtown MPLS being unsafe and full of crime, we were back to the hotel before 10pm and never felt unsafe.
I have stayed at this hotel annually for 3 decades. It has gone down hill for numerous reasons. -no executive lounge -rooms not properly cleaned and prepared -lack of follow through when concerns have been shared with front desk
I stay here a lot. I stayed here Thanksgiving (holiday) weekend with one person at the desk checking people in. As a diamond member, was upgraded to a superior room - GREAT, I thought - until I went to Manny's, ordered an expensive meal thinking I could bring some back to put in the fridge. Superior room DIDN'T have a fridge! They also don't have their executive lounge anymore. Have stayed here SEVERAL times, but now I'm thinking there must be better-run hotels downtown and will be looking at options.
I enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable, the fitness center more than adequate, and the overall service and attention to detail was excellent. I have two rather small things that I was not satisfied with; 1) the lack of a continental breakfast and 2) no hot tub :( The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever stayed in.
Hotel was really busy due to multiple conventions going on. Check in was smooth. The only issue I had was that when I requested housekeeping, they said you need to inform at least a day in advance, which was not something that was explicitly mentioned anywhere. Front desk was helpful in coordinating housekeeping and resolved the issue. Rooms are a bit outdated and basic, no microwave, but refrigerator was included. A microwave is located in the lobby for easy use. Paid extra for parking, so keep that in mind. Not too many eating options close by, so you rely on their Cafe and in house dining, the latter of which can be slow at times due to staffing. Overall, I had a decent stay and would return.
Great location. We were able to walk to multiple restaurants and bars. Target was right around the corner for last minute items. Rooms and rest of hotel very clean. Parking underneath hotel was nice. Has a very upscale feel. Would definitely stay here again for downtown experience.
I had to stay here twice for work and both times I became very congested as well as some of my colleagues. The rooms are very dusty, I’ve posted photos. One is dust on the lamp, dust on the wall around a smoke detector, and another is where they have a car deodorizer clipped to an air vent. I also had housekeeping enter my room when the do not disturb was posted. The hotel staff didn’t seem overly concerned that a female traveling alone had someone enter her room when the do not disturb was hanging on the door. I was constantly woken up throughout the night my noise that sounded like someone moving heavy furniture across the floor above me. It was odd.
In town for a conference. Day 2 I noticed bites around my ankles. Day 3 they were around my calves and knees. I told the front desk I had bedbugs. My roommate did not so I figured it was isolated. They changed our room immediately and offered to steam our luggage. We sent down both our bags and got back one large plastic bag with her clothes, my clothes, dirty and clean all thrown together. My roommate lost 1 earring from 2 different pair. Security said, they couldn’t find them. The front desk said they would check with housekeeping the next day. My roommate went down later in the evening and the lovely woman behind the front desk went away, presumably where things were steamed, and came back with the missing earrings. (Honestly sometimes it just takes a woman.) 🙂 Takeaway: They handled it. Next time I’ll ask that our things be separated, and always remove anything special out of the luggage.…
