Not a terrible stay, just very average and disappointing for a Hilton facility - things looked a little tired - the housekeeping in my room prior to my arrival was lacking - the breakfast was mediocre (how does a Hilton get away with serving canned pears?) - and the internet service was frustratingly unstable and inconsistent (had to use my mobile phone hot spot most of the time during my 2-night stay). Friendly and helpful staff. Efficient and courteous valet parking team. The location of this Hilton provides easy access to downtown restaurants and venues and is connected to the city's amazing skyway system that is convenient for bad weather days.
This was a business trip and the organization selected the conference hotel. Very nice hotel and their first conference group hosting since COVID19. Very clean and quiet. Maybe because occupancy was low. Self cleaning elevator buttons - really! First time I have ever seen that. And super fast elevators. Could go from 1st floor to 22 floor in 22 seconds. Took longer than that to go 4 floors in the Hampton we stayed at last night. Housekeeping was by request and via text, but was very responsive. First time I’ve ever seen that too. We did experience an occasional lack of information transfer between shifts. Food at the hotel eateries was very good. Pricy as expected. Product pricing at the little hotel store was highway robbery. We paid $44.66/gallon for 2% milk. I’m glad they don’t have a hotel gas station. Imagine! Hotel employees were very friendly and helpful. I used the app to check in. Pretty slick. But no bell hop to be found when needed. One did appear for our second trip upstairs, but none upon checkout. Expected better from a downtown Hilton. No valet parking due to COVID19 limitations. Not a huge deal for most people I expect. Underground parking pretty easy, and the Minneapolis Skywalk is very nice.…
The hotel was fine. Stayed 2 nights for work. Room was fairly clean. Accidentally left my computer plugged in behind the desk in my room. Hilton is not cooperating in helping me get it back and they are back ordered 8 weeks. Will not be using Hilton in the future due to their unwillingness to help.
Clean hotel with great amenities. Downtown and walkable to multiple restaurants and bars. Great experience. Clean and everyone was super friendly. Great gym, pool is super clean with showers and a sauna. Thank you Hilton for an amazing trip.
Hotel is well situated downtown. Clean and spacious interior. Room sizes are good and bed is comfortable. Does need refresh in carpets. Breakfast does contain many items that are "warmed" and not made fresh. Fitness room good but some machines not functioning. Must request daily room cleaning and towel refresh (although mine did take 2 days to get in system due to comms problem). Staff is helpful and supportive.
Multiple issues with the hotel from the restaurant to cleanliness of room. Issues were never resolved and no followup from manager. I would have thought a manager would have contacted and apologized after the incidents where brought up to staff
Big shout out to the staff at Hilton Minneapolis. I'm going to mention as much as I can remember about my April stay. I was staying as part of a group and their was an issue with my credit card and we had some last minute (and time consuming changes) to our reservation, so I had already had multiple positive interactions with the group housing coordinator and the person in charge of finance. I arrived early in the morning on the 1 April. I was greeted by the bellman who pointed me to the front desk. My room wasn't available, but the desk agent quickly stored by bag so I could move on with my day. During my stay, I had several encounters with food and beverage. Those employees worked as hard and efficiently as I've ever seen. We ran an event during our stay and the bellman stored my bags downstairs for 3 days so I wouldn't have to haul the heavy bags to my room and when I left they helped me to tape the boxes shut, find an SUV taxi etc. Everyone was so accommodating and helpful and I am super grateful for all the help.…
As a Diamond-level HHonors member I always contact the hotel in advance and ask for an upgrade if available, and was given a beautiful junior suite on the 23rd floor. The room was renovated with nice furniture, a comfortable bed and was perfectly clean as well. The fitness center has all new equipment, and the of the menu breakfast was well-prepared and my coffee and water was constantly refilled. Diamonds receive a $15 breakfast credit at all Hilton properties in the U.S. through the end of the year. The one evening we visited the bar the service was also very efficient and the draft beer selection included some local choices. Since we were in the convention center we were able to walk through the Skyway back and forth, making it very convenient. On the last day I attended the Twins-Dodgers game which ended at 3, and had the Uber stop at the hotel where I quickly was able to retrieve my luggage and head on to the airport. If you are a business traveler the Hilton is an excellent choice for your stay in Minneapolis.…
The hotel is descent and what you would expect from a Hilton hotel. It is well located with sky bridges and short walks to convention center and plenty of places to eat. Hotel is clean. Rooms are nice but dated. No USB outlets. My biggest issue is with the erosion of hhonors diamond benefits. Was 'upgraded' to a higher floor which is fine but the room itself was same footprint. No more executive lounge at this hotel. A year ago we would have had free breakfast for everyone in the room. Now you get a $15 credit for up to 2 people in your room and a breakfast that cost $25 per person with basic food items. So $45 out of pocket if we want to eat breakfast at hotel (3 people in room).
I have been staying at this hotel for about a year. Several times a month. Can't say enough about the great people working there and accommodations. Called today to see if I could get a rate of $199 since my company will not pay over that. The rate was 208 for tonight. Val was unwilling to accommodate. I asked for the hotel manager she refused to transfer, told me she was the manager and was the final decision-maker. I find it hard to believe the hotel manager works the front desk. I am a lifetime diamond member and every other Hilton property has accommodated my request especially when the rates are so close, I guess Val thinks an empty room is more important,
