I was in town for a big sports tournament, so there were lots of us in the hotel. But even though it was full, the room was clean, quiet and ready when I needed it. The front desk people were incredibly friendly and we even traded info on good restaurants. The location could not be beat -- a couple of blocks from the convention center, the stadium and all kinds of places to eat and see.

Traveling from out of state with a friend and decided to stay here during the 2020 Twin Cities Auto Show, which was canceled due to the virus pandemic on the Saturday that we planned on visiting the auto show.

The last time we stayed at this was hotel was roughly 5 years ago, before the remodeling took place, and was pleasantly surprised how different the lobby looks, 100% better and more modern and upscale, along with the remodeled hotel rooms. The hotel is connected to the skyway system for downtown Minneapolis, which is a bonus and close to the Minneapolis Convention Center, plus many more attractions, restaurants and shopping.

We were only there for one night and checked in around 7:30 pm, didn't use the bar or restaurant area within the hotel. Stayed in room 2344, the beds were comfortable and didn't hear any noise, but the room was clear at the end of the hallway and not close to an elevator, which did help with the noise reduction.

The only issue with the room was the water would not drain properly in the bathroom sink, which I did express the concern when I checked out. Hopefully the hotel was responsible and sent someone to get the drain unclogged.

The hotel was very quick in sending someone up with washcloths as my room was missing them.

If you are not a Hilton Honors Member, I would defiantly sign up (only takes minutes and it is free) and download the Hilton App on your Smart Phone. This was the first time using the app and was able to select my own room (2344) and use the Digital Key (If you select that option) which was very handy and worked on the first try. The hotel was very quick on responding to my text messages that I would send to them through the Hilton Honors.

The hotel has either valet parking (not sure on the price) or you can park your own car in the parking garage under the hotel (nice option during the winter months to keep your car clean of snow or during the summer months to keep your car cool from the direct sun) . The price was $15 for 24 hours, but if you leave the parking garage and you plan on coming back to use the garage, you will need to pay again. I would suggest that if you plan on leaving the parking garage multiple times, you pay $25 and obtain a code from the hotel front desk so you are able to leave and go as you please from the parking garage.

All around, great hotel, great location, will be back!

The hotel and its rooms are well maintained, with modern and spacious interior design. The view from the executive lounge is excellent, and the breakfast buffet is decent. The hotel is also well connected to the conference centre.

On the other hand, room WiFi is free only for Hilton Honors members (I am a member). It is free to join, but in this day and age, trying to pass WiFi off as some sort of member-only privilege is simply out of touch. This kind of policy is a hassle for both staff and customers.

Another problem is that the hotel offers two types of breakfast. One is the standard breakfast buffet, and the other is a breakfast coupon to their small café, where you could get a muffin or a sandwich. Of course it is written somewhere when you make a booking, especially if done on the Hilton website, but this information is often simplified to "breakfast included" in other websites, meaning that customers are misinformed on a regular basis, and require frequent clarifications from staff members.

The hotel may be able to benefit significantly by simplifying some policies.

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to writing a review. about your recent stay with us. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the quality of our hotel and rooms. Glad to hear you enjoyed the executive lounge and proximity we are to the convection center via skyway. The feedback regarding to free-wifi for Hilton Honors members has been noted. We encourage all guests to book directly through Hilton to have up-to-date information, and we have limited restraints of what is being said on third-party sites. On top of that, we have the lowest price available when booking directly with Hilton. We apologize for any confusion at check-in regarding to breakfast. We take all reviews very seriously, and this review will be discussed with the internal team. Thank you once again for sharing your feedback, and we hope to host you again in the near future!

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I am not one to leave bad reviews but this place was unbelievable . First time checking in my boyfriend asked for a different room because it was my birthday and he paid for a “premium view” and the room was facing the rooftop of the building. I had called ahead to request clean sheets and towels because of my sensitive skin and the guy at the desk said he could not see that because we had moved rooms and I need to call 24-48 hours before which I had done. Went back and forth with me multiple times about it, okay cool. Got to the room no hand soap went down to request some and an additional comforter and towels we were staying a week. Left for a couple hours came back our keys were not working?? My boyfriend went down to get new ones. Next morning was about to use one of the towels saw this huge yellow stain on it and went to the front desk. Agent was apologetic and said he would send new ones. Left and came back to find some on the bed also with small but numerous stains. Went down again same agent was apologetic assured a clean comforter and towels would be sent up. Came back a couple hours later to find 3 towels and comforter on the bed. Comforter was okay but towels had small but numerous stains as well. Went down to request check out with pictures of the stains different guy was at the desk polite about it, he called the manager of housekeeping over her name is Joanne Sanchez told her about the situation who proceded to go back and forth with us about the towels as if I was lying!! She said she made sure they were clean and said “let’s agree to disagree”. I’m sorry what?? Clear you did not why would I lie about something like that different stains, different colors and sizes. I work in customer service and that is not how you speak to paying customers especially when you’re the ones who have made numerous mistakes!! We were ready to just ask for a refund and leave but the manager going back and forth with me basically accusing me of lying because she “made sure there were no stains” was what made me write this. So if you like dirty towels, dirty hands, ripped old comforters and to be told you’re lying about said things. Then book this Hilton! Some pictures attached the third one i believe is dog hair neither me nor my boyfriend own dogs.

nice room, updated, clean but was way too warm. We turned off all heat and still barely slept because of the excessive heat. The accomodations seemed good for business people but beware, if you stay there and expect to wake and have a great breakfast, go outside the hotel. $50.00 got us bullet biscuits, cold gravy, cold eggs and cool pancakes. Ruined our morning!!

As a Diamond-level HHonors member I always contact the hotel in advance and ask for an upgrade if available, and was given a beautiful junior suite on the 23rd floor. The room was renovated with nice furniture, a comfortable bed and was perfectly clean as well. The fitness center has all new equipment, and the of the menu breakfast was well-prepared and my coffee and water was constantly refilled. Diamonds receive a $15 breakfast credit at all Hilton properties in the U.S. through the end of the year. The one evening we visited the bar the service was also very efficient and the draft beer selection included some local choices. Since we were in the convention center we were able to walk through the Skyway back and forth, making it very convenient.

On the last day I attended the Twins-Dodgers game which ended at 3, and had the Uber stop at the hotel where I quickly was able to retrieve my luggage and head on to the airport. If you are a business traveler the Hilton is an excellent choice for your stay in Minneapolis.

...unless you want to laboriously call the hotel at 612-376-1000 and request a refund. You WILL be billed. We rented five rooms over the week and each time, as a Diamond member, I was offered “$10 off at Ten01 market, you just have to give your name and sign it to the room”. Patently untrue. Five times out of five I had to catch the charge on my bill, call the hotel and ask for a refund. Painful and consistent misrepresentation of the offer. Which leads me to believe it is a margin play by this property. This the negative review and warming. $10 is not much if you don’t catch it but that’s simply not the point when there are so many other hotel options.

Dean W, Thank-you for taking the time to review our hotel. As a valued Diamond member and loyal guest of Hilton my sincerest apologies for your recent experience with our hotel. We sincerely appreciate the business. We need to address this with our team members and provide additional training ASAP. This is a new initiative we are offering during this pandemic and are in early stages of the roll-out. This is certainly no excuse but felt I needed to provide additional information. I have shared this with our executive team and we will address this immediately. Again, please except my apologies. Please advise if I need to follow up with our team or was this taken care of prior to check-out?

Came to Minneapolis as a get away to explore, as we have never been before. Was looking for a centrally located hotel downtown. Well the Hilton was a perfect choice. From the ease of the app for checking in and amazing customer service & kindness from Kellie and Kristin (to help make our time away even more special), I think we found our new MSP go to! Thank you ladies for the upgrade to a junior suite! It was huge! But the best part was that it was silent! We were able to sleep in and you never heard a sound! Everything in the hotel was spotless. The rugs freshly vacuumed, all survives sanitized, they were even washing windows multiple times a day. .The bar area was open and the food was very good and drink was great. Excellent service as well.

Hotel is located just a a quick walk from everything we wanted to visit. In a very safe section of town as well.

We couldn’t be more happy with our stay! Thank you Hilton for providing a safe and amazing experience!
We will be back!

The rooms were just average. They were not completely clean counter was sticky dust in every corner. Vaccuming was sub standard. Service was excellent though. Be prepared though no parking close by had to pay 15 dollars a day or 40 dollars a day for valet service. Could use a continental breakfast or at least free coffee in the lobby.

The hotel is descent and what you would expect from a Hilton hotel. It is well located with sky bridges and short walks to convention center and plenty of places to eat.
Hotel is clean. Rooms are nice but dated. No USB outlets.

My biggest issue is with the erosion of hhonors diamond benefits. Was 'upgraded' to a higher floor which is fine but the room itself was same footprint. No more executive lounge at this hotel. A year ago we would have had free breakfast for everyone in the room. Now you get a $15 credit for up to 2 people in your room and a breakfast that cost $25 per person with basic food items. So $45 out of pocket if we want to eat breakfast at hotel (3 people in room).

Hello! It's just under 1 mile walk to US Bank Stadium. It's a great option as you avoid the traffic around the stadium on event days. It takes about 15-20 min.
