I stayed here as an alternative to a costly conference hotel downtown. I was very happy with my private room with shared bathroom. It was in a great old mansion, and the immediate neighborhood is very attractive. My room had much charm, like a bed and breakfast, and I was able to make coffee and cook in a lovely kitchen....

Absolutely loved the 2 nights I stayed at the hostel. Never really researched it like I usually do, so my surprise was genuine and happy. All areas were well kept and gave the perfect Victorian feel. Didn't use the kitchen but numerous appliances and great counter space Kim was so very helpful & considerate I know I will be back...

This hostel has poor business ethics and I would not recommend it to anyone. I have now been waiting on a refund of 254 dollars for over a month and a half even though I have called the hostel over 10 times and spoken to them in person. The owner is completely unresponsive to my inquiries and I have had...

I spent 3 nights at MIH, my first night was a bit odd, I had a pricate room with six beds and it made me feel bad for having all those beds just for me, but I was informed that the other private rooms where taken and that would be no problem to use all that space just for me....

The staff was a great start for my first hostel stay. The location is just outside of the rougher part of town but on an art school campus. Very quiet and laid back. I would definitely come back and stay here again!!

Having stayed at various hostels including New York, Los Angeles, Montreal, Seattle, and New Orleans, I can speak to the quality of this lodging in the Twin Cities. First, the location is indeed very convenient to local bus transportation to downtown Minneapolis as well as nearby dining options on "Eat Street." I loved that this hostel is adjacent to a...

This place looks like and is run like a decent hostel, but priced like a mid-level hotel. I was disappointed in the quality of the rooms for what we paid--our queen single/private bath was located in the basement, and the room was about 80% finished--the lighting fixtures were only half installed, there were no baseboards, and the construction of the...

Excelente hostel, bom atendimento, cozinha para uso, quartos amplos. Você tem a oportunidade de conhecer pessoas de todos os lugares do mundo, fazer amizades. A localização é ótima, pois esta a minutos de downtown! Great service ! You can use the kitchen and the rooms are spacious. You also have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world...

The location is tremendous, the hostel itself is great, and the staff is uber-friendly. I felt very welcomed and at ease during my stay. In addition, I had many interesting conversations with Steve and the other hostel guests, which always makes for a good time :)
