I’m a Bonvoy member and always looks for Autograph hotels for the boutique feel and unique experience. This place was quite difficult to find with obscured signage. We then circled around the block for 45 minutes trying to find the self park. Since I’m relocating for work, I didn’t want Valet to have to deal with my stuffed car. We went to three wrong parking garages following a convoluted map that was poorly explained. We finally threw in the towel and valeted. As a pet hotel, I thought it odd that there were zero dog amenities. In fact, the amenities were extremely bare bones. Pete at the hotel bar was fantastic warm and a couple of shots helped us get over how annoying it was that everything surrounding the hotel was under construction. I don’t mind that sort of thing, but GIVE THE GUEST A HEADS UP! Like “hey, we know we’re a pain in the ass to find, even harder to park, but come enjoy a drink or coffee on us for your troubles”. The phone charger I paid $30 for didn’t work and I missed an important work related call. They kindly took it off the bill. If you plan on staying, give yourself plenty of time to circle around the block for most of dinner hour. Rooms were clean, but the sofa was very unstable, the dining table light strobed like it was about to blow. Also a heads up, no cable on the tv.

358kristeny, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts in regards your recent stay. I am sorry road construction made it so hard to find the self parking option and our hotel. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention. I am glad Pete provide good service at the bar. We will share your message appropriately. Thank you again for your feedback.

This hotel has a high-end, one-of-a-kind feel to it. The spacious and new 120-year-old building has been wonderfully restored. The antique timber beams and planks have been lovingly restored in the hotel. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The stadium, riverfront, shops, and parks are all within convenient walking distance.

The lobby is stunning! Customer service was excellent during the entire stay. They offered an upgrade to The Marble Suite which was gorgeous and plenty of space - separate living and sleeping rooms, large soaking tub, huge shower. The corner unit allowed an abundance of natural light to shine in bathroom and all living areas. Beautiful huge windows with awesome downtown city views. Front desk staff was always accommodating and would promptly respond with any request, no questions asked. Would def recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway or family weekend.

ShopBopRN7 I am so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. And appreciate your 5 out of 5 star rating. We bring the outside in our lobby so everyone enjoy the plant life throughout the year. In addition to the elements we have from when the building was a bank. Thank you for staying with us and hopefully you stay with us again in he future. It will be our pleasure to have you stay with us again!

We came up to Minneapolis and this was our first time staying at the Emory Hotel. We had a lot of Marriott Bonvoy points saved up so we thought we'd use some. The hotel is just beautiful inside with all the marble. We found out that it had been a bank a long time ago and was converted into a hotel. They have a nice bar area on the first floor as well as a coffee bar that is open until 1pm during the day. The staff are very friendly and helpful and are adhering to the Covid-19 guidelines set forth by the state by wearing masks and requiring others to as well. We were able to get upgraded to a king suite which gave us a sitting room with a couch in addition to the sleeping area. Everything was very quite, we didn't hear a peep from anyone. The only complaint I had was that they suspended valet service for awhile due to Covid-19. I had to park across the street at the 5th street tower and then walk back. It really wasn't that big of a deal except trying to find my way out of the garage.....LOL. Safe to say that we really liked this hotel and the next time were up in Minneapolis we'll be staying again.

Our design intentions and "The Mark of Emery" is where we are able to bring the outside in through the solar tubes. This is how we are able to keep our plant beautiful and lively. My fiancé and I checked into this gorgeous hotel the day after it reopened in July 2020. This hotel lobby is STUNNING. You are surrounded by lush green plants, beautiful marble and glass tile, and cozy places to sit left and right. We were blown away at how pretty it was. We enjoyed learning that this property used to be a bank that was converted to a hotel (you can even see the old bank vaults still installed in a few places in the lobby). It is conveniently located to public transport and in a very walkable location. We were able to walk to the river to sightsee, walk to Target, walk to restaurants and more. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly at the front desk, given an upgraded room (without even asking for it) and chatted with Tobias, the General Manager, as we learned about the hotels history & reopening. He, and the staff, clearly take a lot of pride in their hotel, it's history, and the work they do to make it a warm and friendly place to stay. Given the pandemic and how topsy-turvy the world is right now, we had concerns traveling and staying in a hotel away from home. These concerns were immediately squashed as we saw how immaculate the hotel and our room was. Extra precautions were put into place, including limiting the cleaning staff from entering the room every day. I can not say enough about how beautiful this hotel is and how friendly the staff was. When we were there the coffee bar & restaurant hadn't re-opened yet. I am looking forward to staying in this property again and enjoying what is sure to be incredible food, in a gorgeous setting. Thanks Tobias and staff for setting our minds at ease by providing such a beautiful and clean hotel for our stay.
