Culture, innovation, endless exploration—Minneapolis and Minnesota offer it all. At the heart of this wonderland is Emery. Elegantly appointed without being fussy, Emery embodies the North’s generous hospitality and defies convention. Rich in history and built in 1906, the building was originally the Midland National Bank and has always been that of a beacon for the community where all could experience welcome and innovative service. The newly-renovated guest rooms are a contemporary mix of custom finishes, high-end amenities, and creature comforts to create a luxurious and comfortable experience. The unexpected pairings of lush plant life and natural wood textures contrasted with opulent marble halls create an intentionally thoughtful and inspiring experience. Nestled among fresh foliage and natural light, you will discover Giulia—Emery’s award-winning restaurant in partnership with local Chef Steven brown focusing on Northern-Italian courses with seasonal energy. Or stop by the Spyhouse Coffee Lounge for a caffeine boost in the morning or afternoon to unwind in the cozy lobby nestled by a fireplace. The hotel features 6000 sq ft of meeting space, a 24 hour fitness center complete with 2 Peloton bikes, complimentary high speed Wi-Fi, valet parking, and welcomes dogs of all sizes. The hotel is connected to the city’s renowned skyway system and walking distance from the city’s most desirable destinations: U.S. Bank Stadium, Target Center, Target Field, the North Loop shopping district, Minneapolis Convention Center, and Stone Arch Bridge. Located 1 block from the Light Rail Transit, the hotel is easily connected to the Mall of America and Minneapolis International Airport. Experience luxury redefined at Emery.

My sister and I spent two nights at the Emery for her son’s wedding. The queen beds were so comfortable, they felt like we were sleeping on clouds. My only complaint was the lack of food options during the day. The on-site restaurant is only open for dinner and the on-site coffee shop only served sweet pastries, so there was nothing for our hungry bridal party to eat at lunchtime.

Dear 597brendaa. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts regarding this issue. I appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We truly apologize for not having more of a food of beverage option. We are working extremely hard to get more staffing so we can have more hours of operation. We are very pleased you enjoyed the hotel other then that. Once again, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I appreciate you choosing to stay with us.

Awesomely clean and everything is updated, best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. It was also the safest, with key carded elevators. We were lucky enough to end up in a corner room too, awesome view and light.

Come for the coffee, stay for the sleep! I love that this hotel has a SpyHouse in the lobby lounge, it's some of the best coffee I've ever had. The lobby lounge is super cool, you can tell how it used to be a bank, with all the grand marble columns and ceiling coffers, but now there are a bunch of sky lights and plants EVERYWHERE! It's super lush and the vibe is really chill. The restaurant was really good too.

Hi MatisAvi, Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed our Spyhouse Coffee Lounge. The history of our building means a lot to us, which is why we wanted to preserve the stately marble and bank vaults, yet add lush plant life to create a unique lobby space that is the perfect place to gather and connect. We are so glad you had a wonderful stay with us and hope to see you again soon! Thanks again!

I stayed here for work recently. The staff were among the friendliest staff in any Marriott I have stayed in. Great experience at check-in. The room got great light. Because of COVID, the breakfast for elites was at their coffee shop but the selection was excellent and the quality was high. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Chose the Emery for its proximity to the stadium. Game day was an easy walk of a few blocks over to the stadium. The staff was friendly and accommodating as much as possible with Many COVID restrictions still in place. Disappointed that the restaurant/bar was not open on Sunday (game day) due to staffing shortages (explanation I was given by staff) We we’re able to walk to several restaurants. I hope to return to the area post COVID restrictions and would stay here again

Hi Allison, Thank you so much for your review! We love being so close to US Bank Stadium, especially on game days! We are so proud of our team here and we really appreciate the positive feedback. I want to apologize for falling short of meeting your expectations when it comes to our restaurant hours. We are working very hard to be able to be open on Sundays, and are hoping to shortly. Thank you again for sharing your feedback and we hope to see you again soon!
