I was robbed tonight and Mimi helped me, I wasn't even staying here and she helped me by ordering me a lyft and sitting and talking with me. She made sure I got in safely and she even paid for it out of her own pocket! She was an amazing person and I will be forever thankful for her help!

I travel a lot for work, and entrust my good night's sleep to Hilton as often as I can. I know that I can count on them for a nice clean room, at a reasonable price. With this particular Embassy Suites though, I honestly hit the jackpot. To start with, it's in a great location downtown. I'm a 10 minute walk from work, and 5 minutes from the Nicolett Mall and all that it has to offer (including Skyway access during non-COVID times). The real show-stopper for me though was the room itself. When traveling for work I normally home for a basic but clean room, where I can crash in between working and sight seeing. The usually means a slightly outdated room that is showing it's age. At the Embassy Suites though I got a very nice suite (bedroom, bathroom, and separate kitchenette/living room). The place honestly looks brand new, and very well maintained. If you find yourself staying in the downtown area of Minneapolis, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Needs to get back to what the embassy suites stay was. No bar for happy hour, my bag for arrival had 2 water bottles in it and the breakfast was the same from behind the counter each day. You can do better.

Nothing to do in area. First night, hotel staff, who said not from area, told me that nothing was open and not safe to go right when come out of the building. Come to find out that was going towards NOLA which was where there is tons on nice dining options. Room wasn’t cleaned after the first night. Only given 2 thin sets of towels which wouldn’t last more than a night. Called front desk and was told needed to schedule room cleaning 24 hours in advance and that I could down and get towels. I found poor service that they wouldn’t initially offer to bring towels.

Great location to Target Field and other downtown locations. Parking was cheap too in the public parking garage $10 on a Saturday for 24 hours. Lyon's Pub next door was great and the steak sandwich was as well. I wanted to take a minute to call out the front desk staff, Chera and Josh were very welcoming and pleasant to work with. Chera got me all checked in quickly and Josh was helpful with directions to local establishments. Overall I was not going to give the hotel 5 stars. I was in Room 1132 and the room was great. The problem was the people in 1131, I complained from 7-930pm to the front desk in person and on the phone to get the group of 4-6 girls who were having a party to quiet down some. Eventually I had had enough and asked to be moved. The evening shift didn't seem to bothered with the noise that was being made and to be honest I think I was bothering him since his shift was about to be over. I requested to be moved which happened and I had a great night. In the morning when I was asked about my stay, I let Josh know and he was not happy with how things turned out. Needless to say, Josh and Embassy Suites did the right thing. I'm not giving them 5 stars because they knocked some $$$ off my bill. Chera and Josh understand customer service and did a great job. The room was typical Embassy Suites great. This review is for those two front desk employees who did a GREAT job!!!
