My wife and I spent three nights here over Valentines weekend this year. We were there primarily to ice fish, not much luck this time , but that’s fishing. The temps ranged from -8 to -36F, our room was cozy and nicely decorated. We had a problem with the fridge freezing stuff but that’s not big deal. The food was very good, they have a pretty broad menu, which I didn’t really expect in “these times”. The staff was outstanding, Dan and Sara in bar and restaurant were great. My aging SUV didn’t care for the frigid temps, Dave the overnight guy was very helpful, several times helping me out with a jump or starting my vehicle for me in the middle of the night. The great service didn’t end there, my vehicle needed more help on Monday- dead battery, middle of the lake -20. Despite my overly stubborn pride, my wife called the resort, and in 15 minutes, their maintenance guy Steve was out jump starting us. You can’t ask for more than that. This was probably my 5th or 6th time there, I’ll be back

Worst room I've stayed in for years -- very tiny room and thin walls where I could hear EVERYTHING from next door. Looked out at the lake but that was the only nice feature. We had dinner in the restaurant and the male server wore his mask under his nose and every table was sat with people; no social distancing. Dinner was less than average in taste but expensive. Service was slow and marginal. Maybe the off-main lodge rooms would be better, but I absolutely cannot recommend this lodge, as pretty as it is from the photos and outside. The design of the room levels in the main lodge with the open atrium afford everyone the chance to hear the noise from the lobby.

Room Tip: Don't choose a room in the main lodge; too noisy and small.

Hi Tamara, Thank you for your time to write this review. We apologize for your bad experience and we are very disappointed our rooms did not meet your expectations and that all COVID guidelines were not being practiced in the restaurant. We want all of our guests to feel safe and happy when they stay and eat with us. Your review is noted and we will make all efforts to make future stays better. Thank you!

Quality of room was poor. Quality of food was ok but with dinners u dont have a soup or salad option. OUTRAGEOUS PRICES! Only positive was some of the staff..not all..but some. When we checked in, or room had broken blinds, toilet wouldn't flush, under the beds were thick with dust and dirt and beds were made poorly and improperly. We let staff know anthey IMMEDIATELY found us a better room and inspected it before we stayed. Will we go back...no AMAZING STAFF..SARA in the dining room,SARA at the front desk CHASTITY management. They keep the rest a float.

Great get away, but services are very limited. Lodge room was okay, but couldn’t get our AC to work. It was a good thing it was cool outside. We had better food at local businesses. Front desk folks weren’t very welcoming, but the young men by the docks were very friendly and helpful. The weather and lake was beautiful.

Looks nice from pictures, but they always do. Didn’t even dock my boat there. No room. Ask where I can park boat and trailer cuz the yards everyone else parked in we’re full. But little over quarter mile away is our overflow. They accommodate the drunks real nice. And we got a tiny room above the band. We didn’t stay the night, didn’t ask for refund just left. Save yourself over 100 stay at super 8 rooms twice the size.
