We had 3 rooms reserved for the night of May 11th. After receiving our room key and making our way to our room, we noticed mouse traps all over the hallway areas. Our room was open already and we could barely close the door behind us. There were holes in the walls, the protector was off the fan in the bathroom, and the TV didn't work. When the guests for the other 2 rooms arrived they received their keys and went to their rooms. Their rooms were locked from the inside with the chain. They went back to the front desk to inform them. Charles, the guy at the front desk, went to the rooms and started screaming about how they are trespassing again and how the drug use needs to stop because he was going to call the cops again. Apparently its a common problem at this hotel with other employees letting people into the rooms. This made us feel very unsafe but there wasn't another place to stay for the evening. The other 2 rooms of our party were sent to another hotel in the city, but they only had 2 rooms due to it being graduation weekend. The other hotel they were sent to said they receive people all the time sent over from this Super 8. A refund was supposed to be done for our room but instead they charged our card again.

My overall stay wasn’t bad if you like rude employees who lie, cold water, squeaky beds, and dirty rooms. There was one nice eomplyee I’ll admit although he didn’t know what was going on. But when it came to checking out all three employees sat on their phone and refused to make eye contact. The one man said he was going to email me my receipt. I asked if he could print it off and he explained his printer was broken. I call bull s***. Now checking my email I still have no receipt!! When checking my bank transactions I was charged $20 more than I was suppose to!! I called to ask why and they had no idea but refused to refund me. I called again to speak to someone else and got hung up on. I called yet again and they said it was because of a missing key. I found the key and asked if I mailed it in if I could get refunded and GOT HUNG UP ON AGAIN! At this point I’m furious. I live 5 hours away, so I mailed it in with a letter explaining what had happened and how I was not happy with my experience. I got charged another $10. Called again asking what for and they had no explanation. I WOULD HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND!

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It just reaffirmed why I will never again stay at a Super 8. It’s wasn’t my choice or reservation. From the time we walked in - the check in took over 30 minutes. Our keys didn’t work. The guys in the other room had to go back to the front desk 6 times. They finally changed their room, & the key didn’t work the first time again. The room was overpowering smell of potpourri covering cigarette smell in a non smoking room. Rooms were dirty. Not sure what was spilled in the refrigerator or power strip. Only 2 bath towels & 1 hand towel. The other room had no toilet paper. Shall I go on? Brutal. Stay anywhere else but there.

I booked here as I'm travelling for nursing school and it's more convenient to stay overnight than drive 1 1/2 hours home at night through the winter and double back for class the next morning. I booked a room and when my class was cancelled I attempted to cancel the reservation 2 weeks early. I contacted the property to cancel the room asking if they could reduce or waive the cancellation fee as I'm a full time nursing student and have a very limited income and would greatly appreciate any help. They immediately emailed me back saying they would not waive or reduce the fee. That being said, when I went to book this room, I had also sent an email asking if they would provide any discount as I will need a room one night a week for 11 weeks and am in school full time. They never answered that request but 3 weeks later when I ask to cancel a reservation TWO WEEKS ahead of time they responded in 15 minutes declining my request. I was warned that the hotels on 169 are in a bad spot of town and considering their inability to even slightly accommodate a student who was willing to give them a booking one day a week for 11 weeks and they were ready to take my money for a reservation that was cancelled 2 weeks in advance shows that their business lacks any supportive or moral consideration.

The hotel was clean and everything in my room worked. The price was great and the staff was very nice. There is some construction going on the road out front but it is past the hotel so no noise problem. You have to take a service road to get into the hotel but it is well marked, no problem.
