Just back from 4 nights spent at Quarry Walk Lodges, we stayed in Badger 32, and have to say it was excellent. The lodge was very well equiped, from kitchen utensils to a dishwasher and washing machine. Wach room had its own tv, for those who like to keep up to date, and the hottub was really special, secluded and...

My wife and I arrived on Monday afternoon and were greeted by a very friendly reception. The site is properly in the middle of nowhere and I would say that if you're expecting mobile coverage you're looking in the wrong place! However, for us, this does not detract from the site at all. We were in Woodpecker 44 and the...

Myself, my partner, our two girls (8 and 7 years old) and our two year old son stayed here in march 2014, for a short break. We stayed in a two bedroom squirrel lodge which is the smallest and more basic of the lodges on site. However, for the price it was still fantastic, everything you need for a relaxing...

Stayed at a 3 bedroom log cabin here in April 2014. The log cabin we were in was directly opposite the park that is on the site, it is more like an obstacle course. The cabins are secluded and they haven't crammed loads of cabins in together, so you really are in the woods. There is absolutely no signal when...

Me and my husband booked to stay here for a long weekend after our wedding. We stayed in woodpecker 39 and and it was lovely. Everything worked perfectly in the cabin and we had no issues with uncomfortable beds etc. The hot tub is amazing, nothing beats sitting in there watching the birds in the trees or stars in the...

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights and we were so impressed! The accommodation was lovely and the hot tub the perfect end to the day! We did experience wifi and phone signal issues, but who cares when you can have bubbly in the bubbles! We would definitely go back!

Having stayed in a lodge before in Lincolnshire, my family (4 sons aged 3-11 years, plus husband and myself) and I all had high hopes for another fantastic holiday in a lodge in beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately the apparent flora and fauna are fictitious and we stayed quite literally in a disused quarry. Imagine dusty grey gravel tracks with potholes (my...

Stayed Mon to Fri in Woodpecker 39. Site is in a lovely quiet area, well wooded with lots of birds around the site. Build of the log cabin was not what I had expected, the size was amazing! We had a serious issue with the comfort of the mattress on the first two nights but a word with one the...
