Stayed here for a couple of nights in a lodge for four people. Plenty of space in very clean accommodation, a well-equipped kitchen, lovely white fluffy towels and pristine white bed linen provided. Hot-tub was amazing... so cold outside but it was bliss lying in this chatting with friends. Very quiet area in Autumn, no mobile service at all except... More

Paid £230 for 3 nights in the woodpecker lodge. The living/kitchen/diner was big and open plan and had all of the appliances we needed. Bathroom was big with a shower over the bath. Bedroom lovely too with a large wooden 4 poster bed. The deck with the hot tub could be reached from both the bedroom and living room through... More

I stayed here this weekend with my boyfriend for our anniversary. Check in is stated from 4pm onwards so don't arrive before as there is nothing to do. We stayed in a squirrel lodge for 4 people which was lovely enough just for the two of us, everything we needed was in the lodge i.e kitchen utensils, cooler, microwave, kettle... More

Lovely stay here with friends, fab facilities and lovely hospitality of staff. Would recommend and will definitely be coming to stay again. We had everything we needed all in one place and was a great location for access to Alton towers, with a short taxi ride.

The staff were amazing and provided us with everything we needed to know, and overall were very friendly and easy to speak to if we had any inquiries. The lodge was one of the best I have stayed in(if... More

We visited the site for a family mini break with a 5 year old and 2 month old. The staff were very welcoming and were on hand for any queries throughout our stay. The lodge was two bedrooms, Squirrel 52 and was lovely and cosy and provided enough room for our three night stay. The under floor heating was excellent... More

Visited with my friend and our boys. ( aged 5 and 8) the lodge was mainly however there was a little dust behind beds and grime around the taps. This did not prevent us from enjoying ourselves however. The staff were lovely and the hot tub was checked everyday along with obvious maintenance occurring on site. The only reason I... More

Had a fabulous weekend here, although we were late on arriving on the Friday, the lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. The lodge itself was beautiful, massive kitchen/diner come living room area, 2 bedrooms which had very high quality thick wooden beds (room one double, room two had 2 bunkbeds) both rooms were large. The bathroom was spacious... More
