Jo was a very courteous host. The accommodations and food were top notch. The bedroom/ bath were very clean and decorated nicely. The comon areas were very comfortable and welcoming. Had a great social time with the other guests at breakfast. Everyone was very gracious. We will definitely be back.

We love staying at Anna V's to explore Lanesboro. The rooms are lovely, the owners friendly, the breakfast divine. It is a perfect getaway for couples or for girlfriends. We keep coming back every fall. Our favorite is to sit on the porch with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Relaxation and rejuvenation!

All we can say is that we had a wonderful time in Lanesboro and an even better time at Anna V's. Joie"s breakfasts were to die for. Her attention to detail and cleanliness is superior. We loved our room which was perfectly clean and spacious. A very warm feeling in the home. We will stay there again. Oh, the home is in a very quiet residential area also.

We stayed in the Nordic Guest House at Anna V’s and highly recommend it…..so comfortable! Joie’s delicious breakfasts, and fun conversation with other guests, started each morning. Of course, the Lanesboro area has lots to offer! We had a great weekend and will definitely go back to Anna V’s soon.

The bed was comfortable the North Star room lovely and spacious. It was a great breakfast. It would have been nice to have the option to have it brought to us in our room but it was enjoyable to meet folks. We had great time.

The Inn is conveniently located. It's an easy walk to downtown and easy to bike to the trail head. The hostess was welcoming and very friendly. The breakfast portions were reasonable (not too big) and the food was tasty. Guests have access to a locked garage for bike storage which is very nice. The room was clean. Overall though the facility is looking well-worn and could really use some freshening up. It's rather drab and dark. The sitting area in the Nordic suite was pleasant but the sofa needs to be replaced as does the porch furniture front and back. They are simply worn out. An investment in new furniture, lighter color paint, fresher decor and wall art could do a world of good to make the Inn more appealing.

Very cozy bed and breakfast. Comfortable beds and rooms. The innkeepers make the experience so enjoyable. Joie’s cooking and baking is amazing and her and Jim so friendly and helpful. We biked many miles and enjoyed the play at the commonwealth theater. Junipers and Pedal Pushers restaurants have great food for dinner. Easy walk to all of those places. Our friends camped in the city park just down the hill so could walk to their site. Lanesboro is a lovely town. Sat on the porch and saw a deer one evening walk across the street and another evening saw a doe and two fawns walk across the yard. Recommend!

We stayed in the attic room, which is bigger than the photos suggest. It has its own bathroom. It also has a TV and electric fireplace with a comfortable loveseat. The bed was comfortable. We were there in February and it was still warm enough there to not worry about the radiator. The house has been totally refurbished in the the 21st century, It is not musty and old. We had last stayed in Lanesboro in the Cady Hayes B&B in February 1997, which is no longer a B&B. That house was located at 500 Calhoun. The Anna V B&B is a similar era house. It may be what one thinks about when imagining a Bed and Breakfast. Everything was clean. The breakfast was great. Our host, Joie, was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed talking with her. We had a great time and would love to stay again.

We enjoyed 2 nights at the inn. Great location, 2 minutes from the Root River bike path or an easy 10 minute walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. The Nordic suite was roomy and comfortable, with a coffee machine and frig, and a living room with gas fireplace and comfy chairs for reading or movie/TV. Bike storage available. Full breakfast with home baked treats.
