We stayed in the Fishing room. Continental breakfast was great with fresh baked pastries. The room was excellent. Bed and linens were super clean and refreshed. Totally clean and groomed. The room had a fresh clean smell, better than at home. Staff and owners were extremely friendly and cooperative to our needs. . Will advise everyone to stay at this hotel.

We found Stone Mill to be beautifully appointed, well situated and so accommodating. The staff is so friendly! The continental breakfast was better than average with delicious fresh muffins, fruit hard boiled eggs and a bottomless cup of coffee. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. We look forward to returning!

This is a really nice B&B with a historic old mill. Rooms are quiet and well decorated. They provide a typical free breakfast with fruit, cereal, juice and fresh pastry. They have a really nice lock up shed to store your bikes when not riding. The whole town is walkable, and there are a few dining options close by. Directly across from a nice brewery and both the Inn and the brewery have nice patios for relaxing. Highly recommend this spot

Very cute inn. The front desk staff was very accommodating. We stayed in the fishing room (it was the only room left that had a queen bed or larger). This inn is within walking distance to everything in town. We slept well the room was quiet, cool, and dark with curtains shut. The bed was not our favorite. The bed creaked with every move and was a bit hard. There is a breakfast (continental) put out at 7am but we left at 6:15. Would stay here again.

We just spent four nights at this unique and wonderful hotel. Spent three days golfing and biking around the area and attended a performance at the theatre. What a great mini-vacation. Would totally recommend this hotel and hope to return some day.

First thing is how wonderful all the employees are! Rick, the owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He is the guy walking around with a coffee cup! The rooms are very clean and interesting. In the morning they have the best bakery items from a local bakery. This was a sister trip and we had a wonderful time. Really good brewery right across the street with live music on Sundays. Do know that some of the rooms have a full set of steps and no elevator. So be sure to get the rooms on the main floor if you can't climb stairs. I will be going back soon.

Very Nice place. Our room was very clean and decorated with a boat theme and was ADA compliant. Fresh Pastries, juice and hot coffee for breakfast-pastries were from the local bakery and were very good. This is a very quaint and charming place-never have stayed at anything like this. The town has multiple bars, restaurants, coffee shops and gift stores all privately owned-no chains here. would love to visit again in the warmer weather and take the tour of the Amish countryside. Overall very satisfied Rick, his wife and Bobby were very hospitable. Rick went out of his way to secure the ADA room for us for the 2 nights we stayed. Great place to stay for a unique experience.l

Stone Mills Suites provides the perfect historic setting to the Lanesboro and the Root River Valley experience. From the point of booking to the moment we checked out our experience was a positive one. The hotel staff were very friendly, positive and accommodating. We started out on a cancellation list, were contacted and eventually made a reservation between two rooms for our stay. We were contacted again when one room came available for all three nights. We were fortunate to stay in the Garden Suite. It is a very comfortable, spacious, lofted room with a fireplace. Breakfast was a delicious start to the day and Bobby made the experience more personal and entertaining. We will definitely be returning to Stone Mill Suites! Jennifer & Matt

We have been so fortunate to have visited the Stonemill Suites and Hotel 5 years in a row! Every year it’s a time to slow down, enjoy the fall colors, bike all the beautiful trails and enjoy the bluffs. We have stayed in several rooms and have never been disappointed! The towels are thick, it’s extremely clean and one of our favorite spots is the Adirondack gliders on the front porch. My husband has kicked my butt many a time in Seven Crowns! They treat you like family- we have made our reservations for next year ❤️ It’s a tradition now!
