Our visit to embudu was our first visit, we were given a very warm welcome by the staff, it was our honeymoon, and we were delighted to see a complimentary cake sent to our room on our special night. As a high-risk patient with low immunity, we were very surprised and happy to see that Embudu follows a strict protocol to ensure a safe environment for every guest. The beach itself is heavenly, I’ve never experienced such beauty and simplicity, it’s almost like a safe haven, a home away from home. We stayed 3 nights in a water bungalow, the room had the most amazing view, it’s clean and very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Embudu Village is the safest and perfect getaway for anyone who wants to experience the beauty of Maldives.
Me and my wife had a good time at "Embudu Village" and had a amazing experience through our entire stay with utmost hospitality and management. Stay: My stay was 5days 4 nights in water villa(free upgrade from management). Food: We took Half board( breakfast and dinner (coffee and drinks are excluded)). All were well beyond my expectations. Everything is so fresh and clean. I can see live non veg counters every night with variety of dishes served. You can have best dishes every night with different Cusines including Indian (10/10) Management: Respectful, humble and obedient to the travelers(10/10)
Embudu island is small (takes half an hour to go around), but the resort is very nice. Real paradise. There is WiFi and cellular communication. It is 15-20 min speed boat travel from the airport which is short enough not to get motion sickness. The place is quiet and not overcrowded. The beaches are great, the reef is very close, and my 8 years old daughter enjoyed snorkelling around it (we took a child life jacket with us). Thousands of fish around you. My husband and teenage daughters (13 & 15) liked the Scuba Diver course very much. If you have enough time take the Open Water course to save an extra 130 USD certification fee. We took a beach bungalow which is around 10-15m from the sea. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Clean room (although very basic set in the shower – only shampoo and soap, no hair conditioner/body cream/shower cap), the bed is hard enough as I like. No TV, but do you need one in Maldives? Take an outlet adapter with you to charge your devices, since EU and US will not fit there. The restaurant is good, with various dishes in very different styles (European, Indian, Asian). We enjoyed the vacation very much!…
I visited with my 3 friends for 3 days in December2021. It was a wonderful holiday. We stayed in the water bungalow. Even sitting on the deck gave amazing sightings of tropical fish. We loved snorkelling in the house reef. Visit to sand banks was the highlight of the trip .We had lot of fun.The food was very good. The staff at restaurant was very polite and helpful. I wish to visit this place again with my family. On the whole it was a lovely 3 days.
I had the best time at Embudu Village, and the staff is amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone, me and my friends stayed for 15 days and I wouldn’t have chosen to stay anywhere else. The food is incredible and there is a vast variety of options. If you do go, all inclusive is a no brainer.
