We stayed at Maypole Farm B and B and were extremely impressed. Sue and Jeff have paid attention to every detail, the rooms are quiet, very comfortable and everything you could possibly require supplied. Breakfast is excellent and beautifully presented with a huge choice. Would definately recommend and it is outstandingly good value.

As always the welcome and hospitality of Jeff and Sue was excellent. Friendly atmosphere excellent value for money made to feel at home. Rooms are very good with all that you require for your stay there, in an excellent location to be able to visit York, Leeds and Selby which are all very close by. Would definitely recommend to others.

We stayed at Maypole B and B in May and were perfectly satisfied with our stay. The house is in a charming village location. We found our hosts welcoming and friendly. Our room was quiet and comfortable and our breakfast most enjoyable. We were recommended a great pub, in walking distance, for dinner. Our stay was more than satisfactory.

What more could one want in a B&B? The old farmhouse is lovely, the rooms are clean and spacious, the facilities excellent. The hosts, Jeff and Sue, treated us as friends, taking an interest in all our doings. Sue is a genius in the kitchen, and Jeff has some good tales, including one (not yet in Wikipedia) that connects the...

Absoloutly brilliant accomadtion, with everything you would want provided. The food was loveley, and the mushato and cup cakes were delicious. It is a very nice and quiet village, with three pubs. The pub across the road did good food and reasonable price. Very freindly and welcoming owners. Brian & Diana

I loved the breakfast - home made croissants with home made lemon curd; eggs from the chickens in the garden and the special "mushato" - what a treat! v comfortable stay with welcoming friendly owners with a real personal touch. Really good value. It was only a brief stay to visit friends in the area but I felt very relaxed.

We stayed overnight with Maypole Farm and cannot recommend it highly enough. As well as being warm and friendly with a spotlessly clean and well furnished room, there are some additional touches that made it extra special. Breakfast included home made croissants and scones which were delicious. There was free wifi that actually worked, bottled water, china mugs and a...
