Poor TV quality, slow internet and furniture not working properly. Asked to have the TV fixed and was told it was related to weather. There was no weather that would effect tv quality. Internet speed was extremely poro and ask what was going on was told at front desk he was on it and working fine so. I asked if he was slowing it down and got a poor response

Could not check in as my card would not work. Had to wait outside in the car for my brother. He checked both us in. Next morning I go down to check out, give her room cards in the envelope with room number on it. First she tells me that no one stayed in that room, then says that she ran all cards already that morning. Said that my brother paid for both. I never signed anything. Ok fine. Settled with brother and left. Four days later the room charge was deducted from my card for the room that was empty, my brother supposedly paid for (he did not, he checked), that I never signed for on the card that didn’t work. Now I did not get my points for the room I reserved and paid for but have no receipt because I was not the one who paid for it. Following this. So I called Americinn and they tell that they can’t talk to me about this because the reservation number I gave is in someone else’s name (my brother). It appears that this hotel changed my reservation for the room but can have no problem charging my card for.this room but now I cannot get any points for because even though I have my reservation confirmation and bank statement it’s someone else’s room and they can’t discuss it. As for breakfast it was scant. Round eggs and sausage which was hot but no condiments besides ketchup. Asked for cheese and hot sauce and worker stated she forgot to put it out. Never did put any out. Too concerned with going out for a smoke. Would come inside go straight to breakfast area, check things, touch items and then go back to kitchen. Bring something out and then go back outside for a smoke.

After a long trip, I want to get to the hotel, settle in and wind down. I do not want to find a sign taped to the front desk saying, "back in 15 minutes" and then run multiple errands talking longer than 15 minutes only to find the desk still unattended and the sign still prominent. We all need to be covered for emergencies as employees and we should feel safe that a colleague is covering for us when we need it. Especially in the service industry. Americinn has yet to learn this lesson.

We went to this hotel a little after 10 Friday October 11th to explain that our camper broke and we needed a place to stay. It was 4 adults and 1 baby we seen a good price on line and the front desk lady Jamie gave us to it for that price she was really nice and helpful!! Great customer service thank you Jamie! And Saturday Jamie called to let us know my husband had forgotten his license and hoped we had not headed back home to Duluth yet so that was good and lucky because we were still in town. Very impressed we definitely would recommend this place! Beds comfortable, pool was great, breakfast was excellent!
