What a wonderful experience. Johnnie and Chris are such wonderful people and a joy to be around. From the minute we walked in the door we were given a warm welcome, they were so helpful and gracious, and the breakfast was amazing. The location is incredible, right on beautiful Pokagama lake and the rooms overlook the lake and are spacious,...

So glad you both enjoyed your stay. Keep us posted on those renovation projects, fun to talk to folks doing some of the same things. Hope you don't wait too long before coming back "up".

What a peaceful and soothing environment! Beautiful inside and out, with hosts who are well-traveled and wise. They provide not only hospitality but also all the creature comforts that make a stay memorable. Loved the bed in the Loon Room, not to mention the private patio. The library is well-stocked. The breakfast is outstanding, too, prepared from several ingredients grown...

We're always amazed at how quickly connections are made at the Green Heron. Whether between guests, or between us and guests. Probably the best part of sharing our home and lakeshore. Look forward to an ongoing, growing friendship with both of you.

The best Bed and Breakfast I have ever experienced. It's perfect in every way. Very comfortable, spacious, fantastic food. Amenities galore. It was especially nice for two couples as in the evening we were able to visit and play games in the beautiful library. We felt lucky to be there. Our hosts were wonderfully helpful and gracious.

We received a fantastic deal on this B&B by making our reservation in early April for a three night stay during mid week September 2016. We were provided with a 20% Spring booking discount that resulted in paying only $114.27 USA$$ per night. This included the very comfortable Loon room which met all our needs, delicious and creative appetizers as...

That "Early Bird Special" was certainly popular and we'll offer it again! Sure enjoyed having you as guests too. It was a treat to visit with you and to talk about some of your other adventures. Hope you are able to come again.

We stayed here for 3 days while visiting with family in the area. Our only regret is that we did not have more time to take advantage of all that this place has to offer. Johnnie and Chris were warm and welcoming hosts and they were able to provide lots of local information. The house and grounds were lovely and...

We recently spent a week at this delightful bed and breakfast with friends from Atlanta who came north to escape the heat. We discovered The Green Heron last fall and loved it so much we have been there twice since our first visit. Chris and Johnnie Fulton are wonderful hosts. They serve unique, delicious, and filling breakfasts as well as...

As so many others have noted, The Green Heron Bnb is perfect. Beautiful, quiet location on the lake providing delicious breakfast and rest. We came north to ride sections of the Mesabi Trail. Our stay was ideal for two tired cyclists. The added lightning show overnight was "brilliant". Our only regret was not following Johnnie's restaurant advice - Mad Dog's...

Always fun to have guests who are hitting the trails! So much for us to continually learn about the local area, and the bike trails are the hardest for us to take advantage of, time wise. We love hearing your riding stories. The Mesabi is such a great trail, glad you got to enjoy it for a day. There are...
