Went in January when it was 30 below and had a blast! The cabin was spotless and cozy with all the amenities one could think of. Beautiful views, great outdoor activities, and friendly owners. It would be a perfect summer cabin as well. Can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I stayed in the Cedar Lodge for two nights and had family and friends visit. Absolutely loved it. The owners were extremely accommodating and laid back. They live on site and were available any time needed. The cabin was immaculate and literally had every utensil and appliance you could possibly need. Very spacious for a two bedroom and incredible view of bass lake. Lots of water activities although the it was rainy for us during the days. Beautiful sunsets at night. Have already highly recommended to others. We will be back!

We enjoyed a quiet girlfriend week end! Cabin was very cozy, clean, and well supplied. Jay and Kim were very welcoming, friendly, and wonderful to work with! Grand Rapids has plenty to do, restaurants, theater, movies, shopping, and much more. We highly recommend staying at Wildwood, you will be happy you did. We look forward to returning for another visit.

Our family stayed at Wildwood Resort in late June, 2017. 8 adults and 2 small children. I can't say enough about Wildwood.... newly updated and very clean cabins, full size kitchen appliances, ample dishware, etc! The owners, Kim and Jan, provide a great atmosphere. My family had a very refreshing and relaxing week at this resort!! We will certainly be back!

My husband were delighted on our first visit in January to find a cozy cabin in a peaceful spot with views of the lake and woods. The cabin was new, nicely furnished in cabin style and was sparkly clean. Snowmobiling appeared to be the main outdoor winter activity with many trails nearby, but we are cross-country skiers and found trails near the cabin and skied right from our door on the lake. Grand Rapids restaurants and stores are nearby. The hosts are warm and friendly.

With only a short drive from all amenities in Grand Rapids MN, you can stay in a fully equipped clean and updated cabin looking at beautiful scenery. Jay and Kim are fantastic hosts ensuring you have all you need (except bring your own linens other than bed linens). A variety of sized cabins can fit a small or large group, and we just so appreciated everything about being there...most of all the peace and beauty of the area and the fireplace in the living room. Our work brought us back to the area twice and for us there was no other choice but to go back to the Wildwood. You should too!

We have stayed at Wildwood for 5 years now. Many of their guests are return guests that have been going for many years. Jay and Kim do a great job maintaining the resort and it is clear they have a lot of time invested in providing a great place to stay. The resort gives you the true "up north" feel. The resort is family friendly, it offers a playground, kayaks, hydro bikes, paddle boards, beach toys for the kids, private fire pits for each cabin, game room, and structured kid activities twice during the week. The rental boats are always clean and in working order. I appreciate that the owners let you enjoy your stay but if you have a question or need anything they are there to respond right away. We recommend Wildwood to anyone that is considering a stay! Great place to stay and the owners truly take pride in their resort.

A group of 7 friends rented the White Pine cabin for a long weekend of snowmobiling and ice fishing in mid January. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, delivering rain, strong winds, and rapidly dropping temps preventing us from participating in any of our anticipated activities. This did not prevent us from having a great stay! The "cabin" was extremely comfortable, spacious, immaculate, and very well appointed. Although it was quite cold, the in floor heat and gas fireplace kept us very warm and cozy. The kitchen was very well stocked with nice dishes, pots and pans, and appliances. Something I have found lacking in many cabins we have previously rented. It was obvious the owners took great pride in maintaining their property and were also very friendly and attentive. Grand Rapids is quite close and offered us several options. We would certainly consider returning in the future.

My family and I have traveled from Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Wildwood Resort for several years with my wife and three daughters. My daughters considered this their top vacation each year and always looked forward to this week long trip. My wife loved this vacation too as did I. Kim and Jay, the owners, are very nice, professional, and will always take care of their visitors. The ammenities vary depending on what you are looking for. They have five new 'luxery' cabins which I stayed in the last few times we went there. I've also stayed in the older cabins which are fine too. The beach is fun and I really liked the two water bikes they purchased a few years ago. My daughters and friends would take them across the lake and enjoyed themselves very much. The water bikes are 'uber' stable so there was no need to worry. The fishing is fun and we could catch northern pike off the dock. My middle daughter caught one with a bobber and hook...and no bait. There are nice sized largemouth bass in the lake and the sunfish are huge. Seriously huge!! Fish Scum Frogs in the rice and you'll get some nice bass action. There is a bald eagle's nest right next to the resort and it always seemed occupied. So what I'm saying is I highly recommend the resort and the owners. I've stayed at resorts in Bemidji, Grand Rapids, Hackensack, and Brainerd and this is BY FAR the best. Give it a try and you'll love it.
