Two blocks to Target Field, free breakfast, free internet and walking distance to everywhere you need to see in Minneapolis.
This weekend I stayed at the Hampton Inn which was in downtown it was in walking distance about five different restaurants I can walk to four different clubs then when I woke up in the morning they had one of the...
We had free internet, but it didn't have enough band width to support the entire hotel and often got kicked off the network.
Friendly staff, lovely rooms, and comfy beds. Despite being next to a road that currently has road works, we were not disrupted by noise. Great protocol of downstairs doors being locked at night. Would stay again if...
... anything we needed the rooms were spacious and clean and the hotel was very quiet it was very easy to walk to the Orpheum Theatre Parking was conveniently located half a block from the hotel and was reasonable
Took my teen daughter to Women’s Final Four in Minneapolis. The games were played at the Target Center and this hotel was 1 block away. So location was great for my needs. Rooms are spacious and updated and customer...
I recently stayed for two nites. Visting friends and went to Hockey Game. Super low prices for a newer room and great comfy bed, I could smell a bit of bleach in sheets so I know they were sanitized and the owners were super friendly and helpful. I lost my key one evening and they took care of me, no issues at all! Decent shows on TV, Heater and A/C worked just fine. Also nice walking path which leads into Fridley area park is a nice touch! You will be impressed by the improvements the owners have made and the price no one can beat!! I dont lie, I have stayed in over 75 hotels and motels in past 10 years and Budget Host in Fridley is a great place for most any one. Pizza, Convience stores are closeby.
I have never ever in my life stayed at a hotel worse than this one. Chose this hotel because of the price and close to my house, argument with wife. I figured one night could not be that bad. I was wrong. Absolutely FILTHY EVERYWHERE! Left at 1am because I couldn't take the filth anymore, could feel the bugs crawling on me and when I looked I could see them.
I was attracted to this hotel based on price and location as it was about $50 and close to where I needed to be. We rented two rooms. They were extremely filthy. One of the toilets had obviously been used and not cleaned and our white socks turned black after walking on the carpet. We had one light that wouldn't turn off so we had to take out the lightbulb. The mini fridge leaked so bad it was all over the dresser and onto the floor. Sitting in the puddle was a power strip. I called the manager who told me not to worry about it. The bed felt like it had sand in it and the pillows were so flat I might as well have had none. The whole place felt like some horror movie waiting to happen. I do not recommend this place and would never stay there again.
Our group booked rooms at the Budget Host because the $50 price was right and it was close to our Destination for NYE party. The check-in went well. and they even allowed us to switch rooms so we had a bigger bed. But the room was OLD. I can list 10 bad things about that room. But the good things are the heat worked considered it was well below zero that night. Nice TV. The room had a refridge, microwave, coffee pot. All the nice things. So value for the money was OK.. just nothing fancy for sure. (I think it had a plastic cover on the mattress) .
The wifi is really bad, if you need wifi..forget it...i was connected for about an hour in my day/overnight stay, and that was it...I complained 2 times...manager said nothing wrong, So I got screwed on that couldnt use wifi -no wif there. The whole room including bathroom is just above slum standard....with ac plugins only on one side of room. The TV was adjusted so dark could hardly see picture and no adjustments for it. Also check in fees were higher that internet reservation fees. Very unhappy with my stay, I will never go back...
