What a great place to camp and atv. Owners were able to shuffle campsites with our neighbors so we would not have to change sites part way thru our visit. Owners are very approachable and extremely friendly while wearing masks during this Covid time.
I really appreciate entering the store with owners wearing masks.
We had the best week atving with fall colors just fabulous.
Water quality was excellent and good electric service.
We will be returning again in 2021, 2022,2023
Thanks Much, Chet & Judy

We stayed in Lodge Room 1 and LOVED it!! Perfect for us and very reasonable price. The trails are ideal and the location of Wildhurst is ideal too. We enjoyed visiting with the owners, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We also saw great campsites, cabins, and yurt! Owners have vision and will do even more improvements with their insightful plans. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Highly recommend Wildhurst!

My fiancé and I just returned from this Beautiful 40 acre campground. It is clean and well equipped with everything you will need. The owners are super nice and very accommodating. They are even adding yurts in the near future. You will not be disappointed.

rented cabin #1- rented for two nights, and left after first night. Cabin was musty, and moss growing on the cedar shake roof for the last 20 years, inside siding was showing where the roof leaked and moldy. Wife was sneezing after the first 10 minutes. Bring your own foam padding for the mattresses if you want a comfortable night sleep, otherwise you're on the springs! Overgrown bushes will get in your way as you try to enter the cabin and bring some duct tape to tape the screen to the little porch so the mosquitos, flies, and every other bug cant get in through the ripped screen. Outhouses, well, let's just say you're better off walking to the "lodge" to use the bathroom, if you want to wash your hands with any kind of soap/hand sanitizer, or something. There is no hand sanitizer in the outhouse. Overpriced! If you want a decent experience I hope you have our own tent/or trailer, skip the cabins!!

I reserved a spot here for one night during a north shore camping trip. We drove up the long driveway and parked in front of the building. I had no idea I was walking into a bar, which would be fine if I'd known. We were given the "stranger danger" stare by the people inside. We walked around looking for info, but decided to just go to our site and get set up and figure it out later. We drove into the campground, which looks like a construction zone with half built stuff everywhere and a falling down outhouse to boot. To our surprise, someone was already camped in our reserved site! But the whole place had that dueling banjos feel, so I went with my gut and got the hell out of there and spent even more money to get the last site at the State Forest campground, which was a beautiful and serene experience.

LOVE it up here. You can hit the 4 wheeling trails right from your campsite. Clean/quiet place. We always enjoy having a beer up at the lodge and talking to the owner ( Leroy ) I highly recommend Wildhurst!
