We visited the Mall of America and decided to stay out of the city so just 30 min away was this beautiful B&B. We stayed in the Dr. Heassley's room. The private screened in porch was perfect for us. The room was large and the Tub is amazing!!!!!!!! Breakfast was wonderful. You need to eat at the Depot the food... More

I can't think of a better place to enjoy the company of family and friends. Tami and Doug are like family and they make sure everyone feels at home. We have not only had a bridal shower here, but a few family and friend events as well. Plenty of space, and always plenty of new fond memories to take home

The breakfast was very good, they were very accommodating with our bicycle storage, The room (Dr. Halsey's Suite) was a good size with a nice little outdoor private balcony and the most wonderful jet tub to relax and unwind in. Fun hearing about the history of the house. Very knowledgeable about Faribault and the surrounding area to help find things... More

This is a lovely historic house with well appointed rooms. They seem to think of everything, but they've been in the business long enough to anticipate everything you might need. Dietary needs are requested and the breakfast was very good.

This grand old painted lady has been beautifully restored into Faribault's only B & B. Doug and Tami are gracious hosts who are anxious to share their knowledge of the history and charm of this town. We were so impressed with the block after block beauty of homes and buildings built in the mid to late 1800's. Tami has a... More

We picked this place for convenience and a quiet stay. We like houses/hotels with character and a personal touch that are not too large in size. I got a special welcome in Dutch from Tami as that is the language which we share. We had a relaxing time on the porch with a glass of cool, white wine in the... More

What a great place to stay, and such an easy short drive from the twin cities. The house is lovely, the service was great, and the breakfast was fantastic! The "porch party" was an unexpected bonus. We met some great people and had great conversations just hanging out on the porch. We'd go back again!

We had a lovely stay at the Hutchinson House on a hot summer weekend. The Inn is a beautiful old Victorian with a welcoming front porch and delightful hosts! It was great fun to discover a charming Minnesota town and we'll look forward to a return visit.
