We stayed at the Historic Hutchinson House in September to celebrate our 18th Anniversary. :-) We were looking for something close to the Twin Cities that had biking/hiking nearby. We would highly recommend staying at the Hutchinson. Tami, Doug, and Louie (their French Bulldog) were great hosts. We enjoyed the historic stories over delicious breakfast, the room, and meeting some...

The itinerary you planned for your weekend is the dream for all our guests! Two-days packed with both outdoor and indoor activities that include biking/hiking trails (10 miles for the "fat tire" crowd, plus groomed cross-country skiing and snow-shoe trails in the winter), in addition to river activities such as SUP and kayaking. And local lore . . . Faribault...

This house has an interesting history. The owners will tell you about it. They are so nice and friendly and make you feel right at home. The décor is beautifully antique and the rooms are wonderfully decorated. The breakfast was delish! We all loved their dog, too! I was there with a group of friends but now I want to...

My stay at Hutchinson House was positive in every respect. Although she recently had had a death in her family, Tami went out of her way to make me feel at home and was helpful and informative without being intrusive. My room (Coughlin) was very spacious and comfortable. Tami provided excellent information about the inn and the history of the...

Thank you for your kind review considering how very stressful this weekend was following the death of my mother-in-law. The "full-house" of guests proved to have the perfect mix of incredibly understanding and compassionate people! Thanks to all who shared the emotional weekend with us.

This is the 2nd time my girlfriends and I have stayed at Hutchinson House and it just keeps getting better. We enjoyed wine and cheese on the porch and had leg and foot massages! It was heavenly! The rooms are really cute and spacious and very clean. Breakfast was fantastic! Definitely recommend this place!

What a lovely place! I stayed here on a rainy Thursday night, and it was the perfect place to hang out, read a book and play with Louie. The home is beautifully restored and maintained. The common areas are comfortable and very inviting. The guest rooms are lovely and the beds are quite comfortable. I stayed in the Professor's Room....

Was in Faribault for a conference and decided to stay here instead of a chain hotel. It's an easy walk to downtown restaurants and businesses, and Tami & Doug couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The entire inn is gorgeous, and my room was clean and cozy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Looking forward to going back when...

We visited the Mall of America and decided to stay out of the city so just 30 min away was this beautiful B&B. We stayed in the Dr. Heassley's room. The private screened in porch was perfect for us. The room was large and the Tub is amazing!!!!!!!! Breakfast was wonderful. You need to eat at the Depot the food...

I can't think of a better place to enjoy the company of family and friends. Tami and Doug are like family and they make sure everyone feels at home. We have not only had a bridal shower here, but a few family and friend events as well. Plenty of space, and always plenty of new fond memories to take home

The breakfast was very good, they were very accommodating with our bicycle storage, The room (Dr. Halsey's Suite) was a good size with a nice little outdoor private balcony and the most wonderful jet tub to relax and unwind in. Fun hearing about the history of the house. Very knowledgeable about Faribault and the surrounding area to help find things...

This is a lovely historic house with well appointed rooms. They seem to think of everything, but they've been in the business long enough to anticipate everything you might need. Dietary needs are requested and the breakfast was very good.
