This resort is excellent! The grounds are very well maintained with breath taking views. The cabin we stayed in, Summer Breeze was spotless! My brother and I went for the fishing , but if fishing isn't your thing, they have allot of other activities. From kayaks and paddle boards to a cozy campfire site , hiking trails , and a... More

I’ve used Riverpoint Outfitters for outfitting my last 3 BWCA trips and I will probably use them for all others I do in the future. Jane and her family/staff are extremely knowledgeable about conditions and different routes to take. We also like to use the bunkhouse so we can get on the water ASAP and the staff always have our... The Riverside Cabin was perfect for us! Finally a well appointed cabin with a "KING" bed, 2 bathrooms and open kitchen-great room facing the lake. Plus.... A wonderful screened in porch where we ate our meals while watching families play on a variety of water toys provided at the resort. We cannot say enough about the owners & staff. Very... More

We have been here twice now, and plan on coming back again. The owners, Steve and Jane, and their assistant Jess, are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. The location is superb with plenty of hiking, boating, and fishing to be had. One thing to be aware of is that there are no TVs in the room, and... More

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. We rented canoes to do a day trip into boundary waters. Everything else we brought with us. It was a great, but exhausting day. The next day we recuperated at the resort. We had two teenagers plus a 9 year old. They had a great time on the water... More

We brought a group of 15 teens and adults, arriving late in a Saturday night after a long drive from Indiana for a 6 day wilderness journey. The resort was gorgeous and well-tended and we found the staff to be professional, knowledgeable and hospitable. After Mary served us breakfast the staff outfitted and trained us well before our launch and... More

Hi Stephen! Thank you for your positive feedback...it means a lot to all staff! We are here to contribute to an experience that leaves everyone, of any age, with fond lifelong memories. As Jane and Steve celebrate their 40th year in ownership of River Point since the business was passed on from Steve's parents after 32 years, passion and tradition... More

My dad and I booked a 6 day canoe trip through the boundary waters and River Point was fantastic at every step of the way. Trip Planning: This being my second trip to the boundary waters, I still had a TON of questions... Jane answered everything Resort: Simply Beautiful. We stayed in a chalet and it had an awesome rustic... More

Simply stated- owners are rude and unprofessional. NOT a resort for families. Had a few unpleasant experiences that lead us to some conversations with Steve and Jane. Their responses were downright insensitive and belittling. We felt very unwelcome after the first night. We were glad to leave today. Sad that we spent so much money to feel this way.

My friend and I booked a room in late March for fishing in early June, after speaking with the owner. Booking was simple and the owner was very helpful. We stayed in one of the chalets, which is one of the nicest fishing places we have stayed todate. The owners were very accommodating, all of our needs were met. Accommodations... More

I always feel good about treating my wife to a stay in this beautiful spot in the Boundary Waters! When she found River Point Resort on the Internet about eight years ago, I was a little sceptical. Walking onto the grounds, however, removed any and all doubts. My business banking experience has prompted a keen awareness for the need of... More
