My extended family stayed here for a few days over Christmas and we had a fabulous time! The hotel was decorated beautifully and extremely festive. We loved the ski lodge/European village theme. The staff was very kind and helpful, from Kundai and Brian at the front desk to Liz R., who made the whole stay possible for us! She helped us organize rooms by each other and was wonderful to work with. My 90 year old mother had such a good time that we promised that we would bring her back in February. The Westin Galleria is my favorite hotel in the Twin Cities, and their staff is one of the many reasons why.

We stayed here for one night as a chance to relax and recharge before catching a flight the next afternoon. The hotel was well located and set up to do that. We had a (rental) car and were always able to find parking in the lot near the doors; there is also underground parking, but we didn't ever need to explore it. Our room was very comfortable, with a king bed, large bathroom with both shower and tub, and plenty of space. We used Marriott Points for our stay, and the number of points felt very reasonable for a nice hotel in a metropolitan area (we were there over a Friday night). As a Platinum member, had access to the club level, meaning we could access the lounge there for breakfast in the morning, which had both hot and cold options and was quite convenient. We headed to the airport from the hotel, and it was only about a 15 minute drive away. Overall we found this a convenient and comfortable stay and would happily return.

I feel horrible. I’ve honestly never written a bad review about any hotel/motel EVER. I’m just so sad that what I considered as sanctuary is no longer that. I keep to myself and give lots of private tips — but for some reason the hotel put me by a very loud and expressive party (f-bombs flying all night — apparently “April” really made some people mad). I didn’t sleep well (darn April) but totally understand that this may have been an aberrantion ….until I called customer service just to give them a heads up. I feel so sad because they made it out that I have a problem —I’m a cardiologist and just want to have a moment of peace once in a while. I completely understand and support other guests having fun .. but staff/supervisors completely blew me off. I guess I just don’t have enough bravado to impress the Westin Edina staff. Though I loved staying there 2012 to now, I wouldn’t make another reservation. I guess they have a rich new crowd to accommodate. Usually not high maintenance but hurt, DMH

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience while staying with us. This hotel is always consistently clean and friendly. They had beautiful flowers in their lobby, and I love their robes and slippers. I’ve never had a bad experience here. I also really like how many outlets they have for iPads, phones, computers, etc. It really feels like they’ve thought things through.

Their lobby bar is hands down the funnest place to grab a drink! Tons of restaurants near by. Personally loved M&S which is attached to the Westin. If you stay, make sure to stop and see Susie and Tor and Ali at their Prelude bar!

Westin Edina is in a lovely location attached to the Galleria. We rented Executive Suite on the Club Floor. The Club provides nice free breakfast, beverages, evening light treats finished with evening snacks. The suite was just under 1200 square feet with living room, dinning room, small office area and a private bedroom with master bath including a lovely jacuzzi tub, separate shower. Even a half bath off living room. Furniture not the most comfortable. Minibar already had a key in it and was not cold. Wine cooler not working either. For $1500 for two nights loved the extra space but the amenities should be all in working order for top of the line room. Great view of Minneapolis and Southdale Mall. Desk attendants less than responsive during checking and addressing problems. Thus only four stars. Maybe 3.5 would be the correct number. Free parking. Galleria is always great to shop. Would visit again.

This is a beautiful hotel. All staff that I interacted with was very pleasant, helpful and friendly. Room and bathroom were very large and clean. Love the heavenly beds !!! We had wine in the bar one evening. The bartenders were busy, but still friendly and helpful. There is a parking ramp for the hotel and shopping mall. And, there is an underground tunnel from the hotel to the Galleria mall. So, we did not have to go out in the freezing weather! Would definitely stay again

I simply adore this hotel. I’ve had many solo staycations here for a day or two at a time, and it’s so fantastic. With access underground to the Galleria with wonderful shopping, M&S off the lobby, and all of the other seasonally cute offerings they have on their main level, it can’t be beat. As a longtime SPG/Marriott member, I’ll continue to return here over and over again. On my current stay, Dagmara at the front desk was very helpful in getting me an upgrade due to my status.

Very clean room, comfortable bed/pillows, amazing shower with rainfall shower head & separate large tub. Quite room even on a busy floor. Plenty of closet space and large in-room safe (fit my business 15” laptop). Convenient location with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance (including a pharmacy and coffee shop). Plenty of free parking for hotel guests. Club level lounge was great and included a hot breakfast buffet, hot/cold beverages, evening cocktails, appetizers and desserts. Lounge offered sitting areas, couch with tv, tables for eating/working/meeting and required a keycard for entry. Room service was so-so as the food arrived cold and missing ingredients (Belgium blueberry waffle- missing the blueberries and syrup) 🤣. I only ordered breakfast one morning as I had to leave for my event before the club level lounge opened for breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re tight on time or want a HOT meal. The gym and pool areas looked really nice, clean and inviting but I didn’t have a chance to utilize them during my stay. I recommend this hotel and will stay here again next time I travel to Edina, MN for business in Eden Prairie as it was a short drive away.

We are titanium. We have stayed for years here as daughters live up here and more than not got upgraded to the club suite. Since Marriott never do they say is suite upgrade available. Looked today and it is available. We cant even use a suite award and get a suite. So disappointed. Last time here
