Everything was perfect. Clean, friendly staff, spacious room, nice pool area, fully equipped fitness room where everything worked! Nice hot breakfast, which varied from day to day. Very well priced for a big city. We will be coming back!
I’ve stayed at this facility in the past, 3 or 4 times over the years. It’s likely been 3 years since I’ve been back and what a terrible decline with in that time frame. This place is nothing short of disgusting. Everything about it is dirty and depressing. From the furniture, the carpets the elevator into the room, stained and spotted furniture and bedding. The sheets were washed but they outlived there use. The current items need to be cut up and used as rags. Most of the furniture, in the room and especially in the common areas looks like it should be sitting on the side of the road waiting for the dump truck. Management clearly doesn’t care and has totally checked out. Surprising that as a Marriott property this decline has been allowed to take place. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.…
Management gave up. We have stayed here several times over the years. It was a go to. But this trip was appalling. Filth. The outside, the lobby, the halls, the room, stained sheets. It has been abandoned. What a shame.
Really needs updating. Arrived last night (7/24) and TONS of kids if all ages running around with little to no supervision. Poor management did nothing to stop the chaos. First room we were given had inadequate AC (temp in room kept increasing in temp not decreasing), and toilet wouldn’t flush. Mgmt provided new room with adequate AC and toilet that works. Walls are paper thin, you can hear people in next room or bathroom 🥴. Carpets are stained everywhere and elevators are slow. As a titanium member, really dismayed at the quality of this place. Never stopped to have our “free breakfast “ due to overwhelming family crowds- opted for $30 breakfast at the airport.
Pool is closed. Empty. We drove from SE Minnesota to here with grandkids. Paid $150. Desk says oops. Room is clean and nice. Property is fine and maintained but without the pool or spa, this is just a business hotel My grandkids don't get it.
This was my first Marriott stay since COVID restrictions were lessened. I selected this hotel based on past stays at this chain but not previously at this hotel. The hotel appears tired and seems to be struggling. My room had three significant maintenance issues. If I had discovered the last first, I would have asked for another room. For a one night stay. It was manageable. The air conditioner was dripping back into the room while trting to keep up with the humidity. The carpet was soaked in front of the unit. The toilet ran intermittently to keep up with an apparent internal leak. To top it off, the shower diverter didn't work. I took my first bath in years. I left a list of items with the front desk clerk. She was pleasant and apologized. Marriott, if you're trying to recover from the COVID effect, try again. Traveler, keep traveling to another hotel.…
I travel for business a couple nights per week and stayed in room 329 on September 15th of this year. I checked in around 7:15 pm that evening and was greeted by a VERY nice staff member. She was very polite and took good care of me. I asked for a 2pm checkout and she granted it with no issues. I went to my room and the temp in there was 76 degrees. WAY too hot for me. I like my room to be 60-63 degrees. It never got below 70 with the a/c running all night. The mattress was VERY comfortable, but it was way too hot to sleep much. I don’t expect to walk into a room and it be 60 degrees, but how about 68 or so? Can’t housekeeping be told to check room temps when cleaning? The morning comes and I go take a hot shower. Shower pressure is EXCELLENT and the water temp gets plenty hot for me. There’s so much steam and zero ventilation in the room so the smoke alarms start going off. Shower is cut a little short. I see on the ceiling above the shower is a large rectangular spot that maintenance put spackle on, but never painted in any way. It was a good reminder that this room is in dire need of some updating. I leave for an 8am business was meeting down the road from the hotel and get back around 9:30 to the room. When I walk in it is WAY too humid in my room, brutally so. The a/c is barely blowing any cool air at this point and it’s about 10 degrees cooler, and significantly drier, in the hallway. It’s so unbearable that I contemplate working in my truck in the parking lot in lieu of spending the next four hours in the room. Great staff, one of the better shower temps and pressures I’ve seen on the road (until smoke alarms start sounding) but certainly a place I won’t stay in again. …
It’s tired and worn. My room smelled liked mold. The beds could be replaced. I realize we are in different times and if we ever get back to normal I hope they spend the money to upgrade it. On the plus side the location is great
I stayed here for 3 nights on a work trip. I had previously stayed here 10+ years ago and really liked it. However, it appears not much has been updated in that time. Most of the hotel feels just tired and worn down a bit. The bed was comfortable and that’s the nicest thing I can say about the room. The bathroom is way past due for an update. The fitness center was fine but not special. Just an average hotel. I’m going to be back more frequently for work so may stay here again but likely will check out some of the other properties in the area.
This was our first time in a SpringHill property and we were very pleased. The price was right...we have paid more in places that weren't nearly so nice. The beds were comfortable, we had a large suite with fridge and microwave and nice counter area, as well as a work station. We would recommend this hotel.
